Background / History

Chen Shenge lived in an isolated Thatched Cottage deep in the Star Dou Great Forest. After a mysterious encounter with a woman he had never met, he found the infant Chen Qingling left at his door and raised her alone. He knew neither the woman's identity nor any useful information about Qingling's mother, despite Qingling repeatedly asking him about her origins. 1

When Qingling left the cottage to search for her mother and experience the outside world, Chen Shenge became her remote protector. Her growth triggers tenfold feedback through his system, allowing his own Soul Power, soul rings, and sword skills to advance at an extraordinary rate. He also uses the Sky Screen to check on her safety, though he avoids constantly watching her private life. 3 50 84
