Background / History

Heaven Dou Infiltration

Qian Renxue infiltrated the Heaven Dou Empire under the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. While maintaining a courteous, refined public image, she concealed both her sex and her connection to Spirit Hall. Her first encounter with Dongfang Yu occurred when she requested that he surrender a 690-year-old Snowfeather Crane intended for Xue Beng’s Soul Ring. 8

Dongfang Yu recognized her true identity immediately, while Qian Renxue was shaken by Angewomon’s aura, which appeared to surpass even her Six-Winged Angel martial soul. Their initial conflict was resolved through Dongfang Yu’s duel with Xue Beng, which he won. 8 9

Duel at the Hundred-Man Kill Arena

Qian Renxue later returned to Spirit Hall and demanded a spar with Dongfang Yu. Although Bibi Dong repeatedly refused because Qian Renxue was a level 57 Soul King against Dongfang Yu’s level 45 Soul Ancestor, Qian Renxue pressed the challenge with Golden Crocodile Douluo’s support. 47 48

She intended to kill Dongfang Yu, partly out of resentment toward Bibi Dong’s attachment to him. Her Angel Assault matched Holy Sword in their opening clash, and Angel’s Protection completely blocked Holy Light Spike. 48

Dongfang Yu ultimately provoked her into pursuing him inside the Hundred-Man Kill arena. Enraged by his insults about Bibi Dong’s lack of love, Qian Renxue exhausted herself in a prolonged pursuit and was defeated by Angel’s Might. The final strike severed one wing of her Six-Winged Angel martial soul. 49

Dongfang Yu spared her life, recognizing that killing her could trigger open conflict between Papal Hall and Douluo Hall. Humiliated but defiant, Qian Renxue rejected Golden Crocodile’s offer of protection and vowed to kill Dongfang Yu herself. 50

Alliance with Dongfang Yu

Despite their earlier battle, Qian Renxue later entered a covert political partnership with Dongfang Yu. As Xue Qinghe, she accepted his offer to help her seize greater authority within Heaven Dou in exchange for the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. 78

The two cooperated against Prince Xue Xing’s faction. Qian Renxue supplied intelligence through her spy network, while Dongfang Yu devised schemes involving Fang Yao, Mi Hua, and Xue Xing’s seal. 90 100

She staged a near-fatal assassination attempt against herself as Xue Qinghe, allowing Emperor Xue Ye to independently conclude that Xue Xing’s faction was responsible. The deception strengthened Xue Ye’s trust in the Crown Prince and isolated their political enemies. 100 103

Revelation and Relationship

Qian Renxue eventually revealed her identity directly to Dongfang Yu, transforming between her female form and Xue Qinghe to prove that they were the same person. She disclosed that she was Bibi Dong’s daughter and that she had infiltrated the Heaven Dou Empire under a false identity. 137

Her resentment toward Bibi Dong stemmed from a childhood defined by neglect, secrecy, and control. Dongfang Yu’s reassurance and physical comfort left her emotionally vulnerable, and she accepted his declaration that he would remain by her side. 137 138

Conflict with Bibi Dong

Bibi Dong repeatedly attempted to separate Qian Renxue from Dongfang Yu, arguing that he was using her for the power of the Qian Clan and Douluo Hall. Qian Renxue rejected this claim, reasoning that Dongfang Yu had chosen the far more dangerous path of remaining near Bibi Dong rather than simply seeking Qian Daoliu’s backing. 155

To deceive Bibi Dong and protect their plans, Dongfang Yu falsely claimed that he had never loved Qian Renxue. Qian Renxue publicly reacted with grief and anger, then privately confirmed with Dongfang Yu and Qian Daoliu that the apparent breakup had been an act. 157 158
