Background

Imprisonment and release

LadyDevimon, like Angewomon, was captured by an unknown powerful figure and sealed inside a black bead for a long time. The bead’s destruction released her in the Star Dou Forest, where she sought both freedom and a return to her home world. 142

She initially antagonized Angewomon and flirtatiously provoked Dongfang Yu, but made clear that she had been sent to assist him. She revealed that the bead contained a Godhood prepared for Dongfang Yu, obtainable only if she merged into his body. 142

Dongfang Yu accepted her condition after she confirmed her desire to return home, promising to take both her and Angewomon back to the Digital World. 142

Demon God Emperor inheritance

After sharing a meal with Dongfang Yu and Angewomon, LadyDevimon merged into Dongfang Yu as black motes. Her dark power intertwined with Angewomon’s golden energy, producing a gold hexagram in his left eye and a red inverted pentagram in his right. 143

LadyDevimon remained one of Dongfang Yu’s strongest allies, assisting him against divine enemies and leading Gu Yuena’s group during the assault on the God Realm. Alongside Angewomon, she defeated the five God Kings and shattered their physical bodies. 289
