Bo Saixi had waited for more than a century for an exceptional candidate before sensing Haiming’s unusual martial-soul awakening at the Sea Dragon Divine Pillar. She personally arrived, ordered an assessment despite his being only six years old, and witnessed him receive the Sea God’s Nine Trials. 2

Recognizing Haiming as the Sea God’s chosen inheritor, she declared that nobody on Sea God Island—including herself—was entitled to receive his courtesy. She then brought him to the Sea God’s Temple grounds and promised to remain with him through all nine trials. 2 3
