Poseidon conquered the entire sea and is regarded as one of the strongest gods. Though he has been absent from the mortal world for countless years, the divine might remaining in Sea God’s Temple and its sacred sites continues to dominate Sea God Island. 5
He established the Sea God inheritance, including the sacred pillars, the Sea God’s Light, God-Bestowed Soul Rings, and the Nine Trials. Bo Saixi serves as his Great Priest and oversees candidates on Sea God Island. 2 3
After Hai Ming awakened Kyogre as his martial soul, Poseidon selected the six-year-old as the recipient of the Sea God’s Nine Trials. The assessment manifested nine golden screens and a golden trident mark on Hai Ming’s forehead. 2
Poseidon later monitored Hai Ming’s First Trial directly and, after consulting Kyogre, embedded an opportunity within Sea God’s Light that allowed Hai Ming to form Divine Bones. Poseidon can be compassionate but careless about the consequences of his divine actions. He spared a dying Siren after being moved by her song and later responded to her love-infused faith with divine power, unknowingly causing her pregnancy.
