Guter lightly tapped his fingers against the table, considering this Seven Demon Generals member who had appeared in the story.
Guillotine Aura's primary ability was Obedience Magic, cast through the Scales of Obedience. It could seize control of opponents whose mana was lower than hers, until their bodies completely decayed.
Conversely, if the caster's mana was lower than the target's, control of the caster's body would be transferred to the target.
Therefore, against an opponent like this, it was difficult to establish an advantage through numbers. A massive army might even be controlled by Aura and become a liability instead.
To defeat Aura, relying on individual strength was the shortcut.
Either one had to be like Frieren or Teacher Serie, using overwhelming mana to crush her completely and render Aura's Obedience Magic meaningless. Whether she used it or not, defeat would be inevitable.
Or one had to be like Hero Himmel, using sheer physical ability to overwhelm her in raw stats and place a sword at her throat before Aura had even finished winding up her magic.
