Serie sat cross-legged on a chair, her right index finger aimed at Guter. Terrifying magical power gathered at its tip.
"Tell me. Before I blast you away with magic, there are at least two things you need to explain."
"Why did you come knocking on my door in the middle of the night?"
"After I clearly told you to leave, why did you force your way in?"
Her gaze sweeping over the disciple leaning against the wall, Serie questioned him.
Now behaving himself, Guter reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out the antidiarrheal medicine Shopkeeper Granny had given him, showing the purpose of his nighttime visit.
"Medicine for diarrhea?"
"So that was it."
Most of the scrutiny in Serie's eyes faded, and all the magic gathered at her fingertip dispersed into the air.
Waving a hand at her disciple, Serie signaled Guter to put the medicine away. She no longer needed it.
Earlier, in the bathroom, she had recalled how to use Diarrhea Healing Magic and had already cast it on herself.
Now that the Folk Magic had taken effect, it no longer mattered whether she took the medicine or not.
