"Uh." Lin Yi scratched his head.

"Hahaha, don't worry about it. If you don't want to join, then don't join. It's not as if I'll attack you." The Seventh Elder saw that Lin Yi clearly had no intention of joining and smiled kindly. "A lineage has its advantages, and rogue cultivators have their own benefits too."

"This junior truly has no intention of joining any faction." Lin Yi gave an awkward laugh and answered honestly.

Lin Yi lifted his teacup and took a sip. A surging wave of spiritual energy poured into his body and spread along his meridians. His limbs and bones felt as though they had been washed with warm water, leaving him pleasantly warm. Even his Divine Soul trembled faintly along with it.

This is good stuff. Lin Yi quickly took two more sips.

The Seventh Elder naturally noticed his little movements, and the smile on his face deepened.

"Yao'er has already sent me a message and told me about your agreement." The Seventh Elder took out a Storage Ring and handed it to Lin Yi. "There are one hundred thousand High-Grade Spirit Stones inside. I can take you to use the Teleportation Array right now."

"Thank you, Senior." Lin Yi accepted the Storage Ring politely, extending his Divine Sense inside for a quick scan. It was packed to the brim with Spirit Stones.

The Seventh Elder waved his hand. Lin Yi and Ye Xing felt their vision shift, and the three of them vanished from the spot.

When they reappeared, they were inside a great hall.

Eight Stone Pillars were arranged in the pattern of the Eight Trigrams. Each pillar was covered in intricate array patterns, the lines stretching from its base to its top, with faint spiritual light slowly flowing along them.
