"Is it here? It really is a limestone cave."

Uchiha Jobu only remembered that there had been a limestone cave in the movie. He had no idea where it was exactly, and the spatial passage leading to the moon did not look like something that could be found casually.

Fortunately, the village now had enough people that he could assign others to search for it.

The moon.

The Otsutsuki Clan.

Calling them the Otsutsuki Clan was not entirely accurate. They were merely people who had inherited part of the Otsutsuki Bloodline.

The brothers Otsutsuki Hagoromo and Otsutsuki Hamura had joined forces to seal the Ancestor of Chakra. Otsutsuki Hagoromo then chose to remain in the Ninja World, founding Ninshū and believing that people could achieve mutual understanding through chakra, bringing peace to the world.

Otsutsuki Hamura, meanwhile, brought his clansmen to the moon in order to watch over the lunar seal. At the same time, he hoped that if enemies from the Otsutsuki Main Family ever descended, the people on the moon would rise up to oppose the Otsutsuki Main Family.

The Otsutsuki Clan on the moon were, in truth, merely descendants of Otsutsuki Hamura. The Otsutsuki blood within them was incomplete.

"Recently, Ninja Villages have appeared below, and all the ninja clans have joined them. The wars have only grown fiercer. I think our ancestors were right. The Ninja World should be purged, and we should control it ourselves."

"The Main Family has not agreed to something like that yet. The Branch Family alone cannot deal with so many ninja from the Ninja World."
