Background

Wu Qingkong was born with an unusually severe wound of Heaven’s Jealousy, leaving him close to death as an infant. His grandfather, Wu Changming, abandoned his own path to godhood and infused Shura Divine Power into Qingkong to preserve his life. The divine power remained dormant within Qingkong afterward, becoming both a source of potential and a recurring danger. 24 46

A transmigrator from Blue Star, Qingkong brought culinary methods unknown on the Douluo Continent into his new life. Wu Changming raised him in seclusion and personally trained him in swordsmanship, while Qingkong grew up performing household work and caring for his grandfather. 1 10 25

As a child, he met the disguised Qian Renxue—then calling herself Qian Qinghe—after Wu Changming found her lost outside the Heaven Dou Palace. Qingkong shared his food with her, prepared a room for her, and treated her as a friend; she subsequently made the Wu family’s home her refuge for years. 16

Before his death, Wu Changming revealed that Qingkong was engaged to Qian Renxue through an old agreement between the Wu and Qian families.
