Background and History

Qian Renxue was bound by an old marriage pact between Qian Daoliu, the Angel Douluo, and Frost Sword Douluo. The agreement betrothed her to Frost Sword’s descendant, Wu Qingkong. She initially rejected the arrangement, insisting that her life and marriage were her own decisions. 1 14 15

As a child, she escaped the Heaven Dou palace while disguised as Qian Qinghe and became lost in the forest. Wu Changming found and sheltered her, while the young Wu Qingkong fed her, prepared a room for her, and treated her as a friend. She returned to the household repeatedly, regarding it as a refuge from palace life; after Wu Changming’s death, she regretted concealing her identity from him. 16

She later operated within the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace as the male Xue Qinghe, concealing her true identity while advancing Spirit Hall’s long-term plan. During this period, she ordered Blood Thorn to protect Wu Qingkong and directed the destruction of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect after its members targeted him.
