Background and History

Qian Renxue was bound by an old marriage pact between Qian Daoliu, the Angel Douluo, and Frost Sword Douluo. The agreement betrothed her to Frost Sword’s descendant, Wu Qingkong. She initially rejected the arrangement, insisting that her life and marriage were her own decisions. 1 14 15

As a child, she escaped the Heaven Dou palace while disguised as Qian Qinghe and became lost in the forest. Wu Changming found and sheltered her, while the young Wu Qingkong fed her, prepared a room for her, and treated her as a friend. She returned to the household repeatedly, regarding it as a refuge from palace life; after Wu Changming’s death, she regretted concealing her identity from him. 16

She later operated within the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace as the male Xue Qinghe, concealing her true identity while advancing Spirit Hall’s long-term plan. During this period, she ordered Blood Thorn to protect Wu Qingkong and directed the destruction of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect after its members targeted him. She intended its seized wealth as compensation and a future dowry. 11 14 42 43

While searching for Wu Qingkong outside the capital, she adopted the female identity Qian Qingxue. Their relationship developed before he understood that Qingxue, Qian Qinghe, Xue Qinghe, and Qian Renxue were the same person. 45 47 49 77

After her resurrection and the revelation of their relationship, she returned to Spirit City with Wu Qingkong, Qian Daoliu, and the other worshippers. She Long remained behind to take control of the Heaven Dou Empire, while Blood Thorn assumed control of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Qian Renxue and Wu Qingkong occupied neighboring rooms in Spirit Hall and spent a peaceful period together while working toward the elders’ approval. 108

Their marriage became part of her Angel God Trial, requiring both union with the Shura God inheritor and the approval of all seven offerings within one year. The elders initially accepted the marriage in principle for her safety but continued testing Wu Qingkong’s worthiness. Their public wedding took place during the Lantern Festival in Spirit City. Afterward, they continued their intertwined divine examinations, traveling to the Far North as the deadline approached for Wu Qingkong to obtain a Soul Ring over two hundred thousand years old. Appearance

In her true form, Qian Renxue is a striking young woman with snow-pale skin, delicate features, and long golden hair. Her disguises can radically alter her hair, clothing, apparent gender, and facial appearance. 14 21 45

Personality

Qian Renxue is fiercely independent in personal matters. She resists having her future dictated by family promises, even when facing Qian Daoliu’s authority and the supernatural restrictions placed on the engagement contract. 14 16

She is also politically decisive and ruthless when protecting those she values. Her response to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect’s actions against Wu Qingkong was not limited to punishing the offenders; she planned the sect’s destruction and seizure of its treasury. 14 42

Behind her guarded public image, she is emotionally vulnerable and deeply devoted to Wu Qingkong. She repeatedly fears his rejection after her identity is exposed, sacrifices herself to shield him from Chen Xin, and uses the Lovesick Heartbroken Red to revive him. 77 90 93

Her devotion includes opposition to Wu Qingkong’s self-destructive methods. After witnessing his sacrifices during her divine inheritance, she angrily warns him that she will no longer acknowledge him if he risks himself in the same way again. She likewise tries to refuse Guang Ling’s dangerous demand for a Hundred-Thousand-Year seventh Soul Ring on Wu Qingkong’s behalf. 97 114

In private, she is playful, affectionate, and strongly attached to their domestic life. She enjoys his cooking, teases him, gives him valuable gifts, tends his injuries, and attempts to cook for him herself.
