Background

The Mirror first manifests to Chen Shaojun after he uses Spirit Sight on an ancient jade pendant. He sees boundless white clouds, a palace, and an ancient eight-sided rhombus mirror inscribed with runes he instinctively understands as “Spirit-Seeking Treasure Mirror.” 1

By Chen’s first use of it, the Mirror has apparently merged with his body. Its origins, true nature, and the means by which it bound itself to him remain unknown. 2 Chen later considers investigating it through Money Opens All Doors, but does not pursue the question because of the likely cost and danger. 179

The Mirror is overwhelmingly superior to the mysterious stone tablet once owned by Azure Spring Devil Lord. When the tablet enters Chen’s mind, the Mirror releases a peculiar radiance that forces it into Chen’s dantian, where it recognizes Chen as its master. 413

The Spirit-Seeking Treasure Mirror appears as an ancient, grand eight-sided rhombus mirror bearing strange runes. Its manifestations are associated with white clouds and distant palace halls. 1 2
