Nature and Formation

Spirit-Sealing Stones are created when Daoist cultivators place treasures inside Spirit-Gathering Stones and seal them with restrictions. The restrictions preserve the contents for centuries or millennia, while the outer stone gradually absorbs mixed spiritual energies from heaven and earth. 75

• The sealed contents are unknown until the stone is opened; they may be magical artifacts, cultivation techniques, rare materials, dangerous objects, living beings, or worthless debris. 71
• The outer stone’s accumulated mixed spiritual energy is normally harmful to cultivators, as it can contaminate and destabilize their Dao Origin or true qi. 103
• The restrictions isolate the sealed object’s aura and even its weight, preventing outsiders from determining what lies inside through ordinary inspection. 289

Unsealing

1. Examine the stone’s mixed energies and restrictions, often with techniques such as the Spirit Eye Technique. 72 77

3. Withstand or dismantle the restrictive backlash that activates once the energy is exhausted. 78
4. Allow the stone to lose its spiritual power and crumble into gray powder, exposing the preserved contents. 78

The Spirit-Sealing Stone King is the prized centerpiece of the Spirit-Sealing House: a massive bluish-green, oval stone whose spiritual pressure can affect even Core-Formation Realm cultivators. 388
