Background & History

The Mocking Heaven Sect originated as an ancient organization established by millions of transmigrators from Blue Star who arrived in the cultivation world 137. Known for its millions of sword cultivators, the sect became exceptionally powerful and formidable across the Mystic Heaven Continent 137 154. Eventually, it faced a massive joint assault from approximately eighty percent of all other sects 137. Despite fierce resistance, the sect gradually retreated, suffering heavy casualties 137.

To survive the catastrophe, the sect leader left behind rearguard sacrifices and led the remaining members to a remote corner of the Mystic Heaven Continent, where they established the Deceiving-Heaven Grand Formation 137. This grand formation carved out and isolated a small world, concealing the sect from the detection of great powers and effectively imprisoning them within a self-made cage 137. They awaited the emergence of an unparalleled monstrous genius among their descendants who could break the restraints and restore the sect's name 137.

Millennia later, Chen Qiu entered the secret realm ruins of the Mocking Heaven Sect and officially inherited the sect master's position simply by sitting in the abandoned sect master's chair 49 60. Under Chen Qiu's leadership, the sect transitioned from a ruined, forgotten legacy into an expanding force, recruiting powerful cultivators, absorbing vast resources from defeated rival sects (such as Fate Sect), and eventually stepping back onto the broader continental stage 147 156 171.
