Background

An Yi transmigrated to the Battle Qi Continent. At age three, when he first guided Qi into his body, he received the White Tiger Bloodline from a system gift pack. The bloodline granted him an exceptionally durable body, white hair, and the foundation for his later Geng Metal Qi cultivation 1.

His parents were Dou Spirit military experts who died protecting Xiao Lin, the former Xiao Household patriarch. The Xiao Household subsequently raised An Yi as a martyr’s orphan, bestowed upon him the surname Xiao, and called him Xiao An Yi. An Yi never accepted the name as his own and continued to regard himself as an outsider 1.

He enjoys provoking others, watching dramatic conflicts unfold, and framing his own intimidation or violence as “politeness.” His public behavior is deliberately absurd enough that most people dismiss him as a useless young master rather than a dangerous cultivator 2 33.

Beneath that façade, he is exceptionally cautious, calculating, and survival-focused. He distrusts promises, noble intentions, and dependence on powerful patrons because the Xiao Household’s treatment taught him that an outsider can be discarded whenever core interests are involved.
