Ch. 1781The Myriad Worlds' Compromise

Xiao Ying treated the badly injured Immortal Emperor Nuwa, and Dao Ancestor Hongjun restored her severed arm before she revealed that the Heaven-Earth Bell had likely fallen to the Devil Race and might be protecting the Pangu World. The Disaster Demon Emperor appeared and announced Great Huan’s kingdom ascension, leaving Xiao Ying to prepare the ceremony while the gathered powers questioned its purpose and risks.

  • Xiao Ying used healing arts and Evil Moon Legend on Nuwa, but he could not repair her great Dao injury or regrow her arm.
  • Dao Ancestor Hongjun used the Great Restoration Art to restore Nuwa’s arm, and she recovered her strength and appearance.
  • Nuwa said the Heaven-Earth Bell had probably fallen into the Devil Race’s hands and might be a Mysterious Supreme Treasure because it had protected the Pangu World from collapse.
  • Xiao Ying stopped the others from probing further into the Pangu remnants’ affairs, but the Disaster Demon Emperor appeared and addressed them as Pangu remnants.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor congratulated Great Huan on its impending kingdom ascension, and Xiao Ying ordered preparations for the ceremony.
  • Nuwa explained that the ceremony could expose Pangu’s remnant soul, test Xiao Ying, and clear suspicion, while Hongjun privately weighed whether to leave or remain.

Ch. 1782Buddha's Radiance Illuminates All

Xiao Ying led Great Huan and the Pangu beings across the Other Shore Golden Bridge for the kingdom ascension ceremony, where the Mahayana Buddha-Light inspected the Great Adepts and their treasures. The Mahayana Buddha Venerable then lowered Hongjun’s cultivation by one realm, and Hongjun thanked him.

  • Xiao Ying ordered Great Huan’s people to cross the Other Shore Golden Bridge, and the other Pangu beings followed to escape the dangers of the void.
  • The Pangu beings passed beneath the Mahayana Lotus Throne without harm until the Great Adepts reached it, when its Buddha-Light revealed their realms and treasures.
  • The Buddha-Light exposed Hongjun’s unusual traits and Xiao Ying’s many treasures, including several that drew multiple beams and attracted the attention of onlookers.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor ordered Hongjun, Xiao Ying, and Xiang Yu to remain while the other Pangu beings continued across the bridge.
  • The Mahayana Buddha Venerable struck Hongjun with a pillar of golden light, reducing his cultivation from late to middle Immortal Emperor stage, and Hongjun bowed and thanked him.

Ch. 1783Liu Bang and Qin Shi Huang

Chapter Summary:

Liu Bang and Qin Shi Huang

Key Plot Points and Events

  • The Mahayana Buddha Venerable refuses to respond to Hongjun’s request, apparently attempting to erase or sever the special karmic connection between Hongjun and the Pangu World.
  • Hongjun readily accepts the possibility of having this “Pangu karma” removed, though he remains connected to the Great Huan Faction for the time being.
  • The Mahayana Buddha-Light unexpectedly targets Xiang Yu rather than the Heaven-Opening Axe. Xiao Ying realizes that the true target may be something within Xiang Yu himself.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor uses the Great Deprivation Art to forcibly extract Xiang Yu’s Pangu Blood Essence. Xiang Yu suffers greatly, and although his cultivation level remains unchanged, over ninety percent of his physical strength and more than half of his combat power are lost.
  • To compensate Xiang Yu, the Disaster Demon Emperor gives him a crystal containing the blood essence of the Golden Demon Venerable. If fused successfully, it could allow Xiang Yu to reach the Half-Step Devil Emperor realm and possibly advance further.
  • Xiao Ying becomes troubled by the mystery surrounding Pangu Blood Essence. He wonders why the Buddha-Light targeted Xiang Yu but ignored Qin Shi Huang, himself, the Twelve Ancestral Witches, and the Pangu Three Pure Ones. He suspects that Xiang Yu may possess a unique connection to the Pangu Remnant Soul or to Qin Shi Huang.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor orders Xiao Ying to reveal what is hidden within the Heaven-Supporting Emperor Pagoda. Instead, Xiao Ying presents Liu Shan, King of Shu State, claiming that Liu Shan is the true Child of Fortune responsible for the pagoda’s abnormality and for many of Xiao Ying’s treasures.
  • The Buddha-Light shifts its focus from the pagoda to Liu Shan, confirming that Liu Shan contains a mysterious fortune-related factor unrelated to Pangu Blood Essence.
  • Liu Shan’s personality abruptly changes, revealing that he is a special incarnation of Liu Bang. He furiously accuses Xiao Ying of framing him.
  • Before Liu Bang can respond further, the Disaster Demon Emperor crushes Liu Shan’s incarnation into flesh and blood, using it to track Liu Bang’s true location.
  • With Xiao Ying’s explanation accepted, the Mahayana Buddha-Lights disappear. Xiao Ying is allowed to leave and prepare for Great Huan’s Kingdom Ascension Ceremony.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor advises Xiao Ying to make full use of the Heavenly Emperor Scripture, calling it Great Huan’s greatest foundation and suggesting that Xiao Ying may be the only one capable of proving Imperial Might in the void.

Character Developments

  • Xiao Ying remains cautious and politically manipulative. He suppresses his fear of the Disaster Demon Emperor, cleverly redirects attention toward Liu Shan, and protects his own secrets while strengthening the Great Huan Faction.
  • Hongjun shows unusual enthusiasm toward having his Pangu-related karma erased, yet he does not immediately sever his association with Great Huan.
  • Xiang Yu is severely weakened when his Pangu Blood Essence is extracted. His pride and strength are damaged, but Xiao Ying’s transmission of the Golden Demon Canon and the Disaster Demon Emperor’s gift give him a chance to rebuild and become even stronger.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor demonstrates overwhelming power and ruthless efficiency, but also restraint: he avoids destroying Xiang Yu’s extracted blood essence directly to prevent unnecessary karma. His interest in Xiao Ying and the Heavenly Emperor Scripture becomes increasingly apparent.
  • Liu Shan/Liu Bang is revealed to be far more significant than he initially appeared. Liu Shan is merely an incarnation carrying Liu Bang’s fortune and reacts with intense hatred toward Xiao Ying after being exposed and sacrificed.
  • Qin Shi Huang never appears directly, but his importance grows through the revelation that both Xiao Ying’s and Xiang Yu’s Pangu Blood Essence originated from him.

Significant Themes

  • Karma and consequence: The chapter emphasizes that powerful beings must carefully manage karmic ties, especially those involving ancient worlds, Immortal Venerables, and their descendants or inheritors.
  • Power extraction and substitution: Xiang Yu loses his original source of strength but receives another priceless blood essence, suggesting that power can be transferred, replaced, or repurposed rather than simply destroyed.
  • Hidden identities and political deception: Liu Shan’s true connection to Liu Bang is exposed, while Xiao Ying manipulates the situation through technically truthful but deliberately misleading statements.
  • Fortune and destiny: The concept of the “Child of Fortune” becomes central. Liu Bang’s incarnation appears to possess a mysterious, deeper form of destiny that has indirectly benefited Xiao Ying.
  • Pangu’s unresolved legacy: The source and nature of Pangu Blood Essence remain mysterious. The chapter raises questions about Qin Shi Huang’s role, the Pangu Remnant Soul, and why Xiang Yu is uniquely vulnerable to the Mahayana Buddha-Light.
  • Strategic restraint among supreme beings: Even entities capable of destroying worlds avoid unnecessary actions because of the long-term dangers of karma and future tribulations.

Important Character Interactions

  • Hongjun and the Mahayana Buddha Venerable: The Buddha Venerable ignores Hongjun, while Hongjun willingly accepts the possible erasure of his Pangu karma.
  • Xiang Yu and the Disaster Demon Emperor: The Disaster Demon Emperor strips Xiang Yu of his Pangu Blood Essence, then compensates him with Golden Devil Blood rather than destroying him or leaving him crippled.
  • Xiao Ying and Xiang Yu: Xiao Ying helps Xiang Yu understand the Golden Demon Canon, reinforcing their political alliance despite Xiang Yu’s unresolved independence and complicated feelings toward him.
  • Xiao Ying and the Disaster Demon Emperor: Xiao Ying is visibly uneasy because of his past theft of Demonic Scales Marrow from the Disaster Demon Emperor’s incarnation. He carefully avoids provoking him while trying to control the situation.
  • Xiao Ying and Liu Shan/Liu Bang: Xiao Ying exposes Liu Shan as the source of the pagoda’s anomaly, effectively sacrificing him to protect himself. Liu Shan views this as unforgivable betrayal and open slander.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor and Liu Shan: The Disaster Demon Emperor immediately destroys Liu Shan’s incarnation so that he can use the remains to track Liu Bang.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor and Xiao Ying: The Demon Emperor’s final warning shows that he recognizes Xiao Ying’s extraordinary potential and considers the Heavenly Emperor Scripture central to Great Huan’s future.

Ch. 1784Kingdom Ascension in the Void

Xiao Ying assembled Great Huan’s forces and treasures in the void as the Pangu World continued to fracture and the Immortal-God Alliance kept them encircled. With the void kingdom-ascension tribulation approaching, Great Huan formed a vast protective formation and began using heavenly lightning to fuse its Heaven-Grade Totem Pillar with the Heaven-Supporting Emperor Pagoda.

  • Disaster Demon Emperor urged Xiao Ying to make good use of the Heavenly Emperor Scripture, then vanished along with Mahayana Immortal Venerable.
  • Xiao Ying returned to the Great Huan Faction as its forces integrated Pangu beings while the Pangu World and its heaven-earth crystal wall continued to crumble.
  • Xiao Ying summoned the Tribulation Purple Lotus, the World-Destroying Black Lotus, the Heaven-Grade Totem Pillar, and the Heaven-Supporting Emperor Pagoda, then assigned emperor-realm cultivators to the lotus leaves.
  • Great Huan’s ships, subjects, and powerful cultivators formed ranks around Xiao Ying, and Immortal Emperor Nuwa used the Landscape of Mountains and Rivers Map to support Dao Ancestor Hongjun’s Ten-Directional Womb-Storehouse Primordial Origin Formation.
  • Immortal Emperor Moral advised Xiao Ying to place the Heaven-Grade Totem Pillar inside the Heaven-Supporting Emperor Pagoda, and Xiao Ying called down void divine thunder to fuse and restore them.

Ch. 1785Facing Tribulation in the Void

Xiao Ying began Great Huan’s Immortal Dynasty Tribulation in the Outer Void, where each wave refined the survivors but inflicted devastating casualties. After only two of the sixty-three waves, the losses had risen above twenty million, leaving Xiao Ying and the others fearing Great Huan would be destroyed before the tribulation ended.

  • Xiao Ying triggered the Immortal Dynasty Tribulation, and Hongjun realized Great Huan might have been trapped by the compromise; the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch insisted survival remained possible and Hongjun pointed to the Heavenly Emperor Scripture.
  • The first wave engulfed Great Huan’s formation, refining its treasures and survivors while killing an estimated three to five million of Pangu’s living beings.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch calmed Great Huan’s subjects and ordered them to recover as the Immortal-God Alliance and hidden Great Adepts watched from a distance.
  • The second wave struck before Great Huan had fully recovered, weakening and refining its forces while causing more than twenty million casualties.
  • Xiao Ying, Hongjun, and the other Great Adepts feared that the exponentially growing losses would wipe out Great Huan before it survived even ten of the sixty-three waves.

Ch. 1786An Opening to Survive the Tribulation

As the Great Huan Faction faced a devastating Void Thunder Tribulation, Xiao Ying discovered that the Heavenly Emperor Scripture’s techniques could weaken the lightning but could not protect everyone. He learned that restoring the Scripture might require accepting the Fate Immortal Emperor’s sweeping demands, and summoned the Tribulation Purple Lotus’s forces as the fourth wave approached.

  • Dao Ancestor Hongjun explained that the tribulation was purging the Great Huan Faction because the Great Dao did not recognize it, and the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch asked Xiao Ying about the Heavenly Emperor Scripture.
  • Xiao Ying demonstrated the Nine Transformations of the Emperor and Imperial Fist Manual, using their imperial might to break much of the third wave’s lightning, though more than a hundred million subjects died.
  • Xiao Ying revealed that the Heavenly Emperor Scripture was only a fragment, and the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch pointed to Heavenheart Island’s Heavenly Emperor Stele as a possible way to restore it.
  • Xiao Ying asked the Fate Immortal Emperor what the Heavenly Heart Sect would demand for the Heavenly Emperor Stele, and the Fate Immortal Emperor named four conditions involving the Tribulation Purple Lotus, the state religion, Lü Zhi, and Tianxin Yunlan.
  • The Blue Sky Empress publicly criticized the Fate Immortal Emperor’s demands as the fourth wave gathered, and Xiao Ying summoned the prisoners and jailers from the Karmic Fire Thunder Prison.

Ch. 1787The Empress Takes Action

Xiao Ying used the Karmic Fire Thunder Prison to protect Great Huan from the fourth wave of the tribulation, then negotiated with the Fate Immortal Emperor for the Heavenly Emperor Stele as the fifth wave approached. The Blue Sky Empress intervened with her Imperial Dao powers and committed Empress Island to Great Huan, leaving the factions joined in a powerful formation for the coming lightning.

  • Xiao Ying released the Karmic Fire Thunder Prison’s wardens and prisoners to help Great Huan endure the fourth wave, then suppressed the prisoners’ rampage with a promise of pardon and freedom.
  • Xiao Ying offered the Heavenly Heart Sect a state religion, an empress, the Innate Five-Element Banners, and a future Dao Canon in exchange for the Heavenly Emperor Stele, but the Fate Immortal Emperor rejected the offer as the fifth wave gathered.
  • The Blue Sky Empress used the Grand Bestowal Art and Grand Imperial Emperor Art to strengthen Xiao Ying’s imperial majesty and reduce the fifth wave’s damage.
  • Xiao Ying shared his knowledge of the Heavenly Emperor Scripture and related arts with the Blue Sky Empress, who urged him to appoint Empress Island as Great Huan’s patron state religion.
  • Xiao Ying issued the edict appointing Empress Island, and the Blue Sky Empress led its forces into the Great Huan formation with Hongjun’s help.

Ch. 1788Pangu's Collapse

As Great Huan endured the sixth wave of the void kingdom-ascension tribulation, Xiao Ying negotiated the Fate Immortal Emperor’s support and received the Heavenly Emperor Stele. When it merged with the incomplete Heavenly Emperor Scripture, a mysterious bell rang and Pangu World collapsed.

  • Xiao Ying and the Great Huan Faction survived the sixth tribulation wave with the Blue Sky Empress’s formation, while the Empress herself did not intervene.
  • The Fate Immortal Emperor agreed to support Great Huan in exchange for the chance to take Heavenly Empress Lü Zhi as his disciple, and Lü Zhi accepted.
  • Xiao Ying issued edicts naming Heavenheart Island the Great Huan State Religion and Tianxin Yunlan the Heavenly Heart Cloud Empress.
  • The Fate Immortal Emperor used the Lesser Fate Art to deliver the Heavenly Emperor Stele to Xiao Ying despite interference from hidden powers.
  • The Heavenly Emperor Stele merged with Xiao Ying’s incomplete Heavenly Emperor Scripture, unleashing overwhelming might as the Heaven-Earth Bell rang and Pangu World collapsed.

Ch. 1789The Ultimate Secret

Xiao Ying learned that the Peerless Wonder Book contained the complete Heavenly Emperor Scripture and that the Heavenly Emperor Stele was the legendary Heavenly Emperor Staff. As Great Huan weathered the seventh tribulation wave, the Heaven-Earth Bell absorbed the collapsing Pangu World and fled into the void, prompting powerful cultivators to pursue it while Eastern Emperor Taiyi offered Xiao Ying his Eastern Sovereign Bell.

  • When the Pangu World collapsed, the Peerless Wonder Book merged with the Heavenly Emperor Stele, revealing to Xiao Ying the truth about the four Sacred Treasures and their scriptures.
  • Xiao Ying realized the Heavenly Emperor Scripture was complete and the Heavenly Emperor Stele was the Heavenly Emperor Staff, then concealed both treasures and wondered whether their unveiling had triggered the Pangu World's collapse.
  • The seventh wave of lightning struck Great Huan, but the Heavenly Emperor Scripture and Heavenly Emperor Staff weakened the tribulation, leaving fewer than ten thousand subjects dead.
  • After the Fate Immortal Emperor asked Xiao Ying about obtaining his supreme treasure, the shattered Pangu World contracted into the Heaven-Earth Bell, which shot into the void.
  • More than a hundred powerful cultivators pursued the Heaven-Earth Bell, while Xiao Ying told Eastern Emperor Taiyi to focus on the tribulation.
  • Eastern Emperor Taiyi offered Xiao Ying his Eastern Sovereign Bell and asked him to restore it to the Heaven-Earth Bell's former might, prompting suspicion from the Fate Immortal Emperor and others.

Ch. 1790Ultimate Secret (Continued)

Chapter Summary: Ultimate Secret (Continued)

Key Plot Points and Events

  • Eastern Emperor Taiyi unexpectedly offers Xiao Ying the “Eastern Sovereign Bell,” provoking suspicion because the bell is his most important companion treasure.
  • Xiao Ying realizes that the bell Taiyi is surrendering is actually the Heaven-Earth Bell, which contains the ruined Pangu World—not the genuine Eastern Sovereign Bell.
  • During Pangu World’s destruction, the two treasure bells were secretly exchanged. The exchange was likely orchestrated by Pangu Immortal Venerable, while the Pangu Remnant Soul carried away the true Eastern Sovereign Bell and sacrificed itself to distract powerful enemies.
  • Xiao Ying accepts the Heaven-Earth Bell and gives Eastern Emperor Taiyi the Nine-Flame Sea-Burning Wheel and Nine-Flame Saber, both of which complement Taiyi’s fire-based cultivation.
  • Xiao Ying reflects on Pangu’s repeated, mysterious assistance throughout his life, including providing the Pangu Blood Essence, Nine-Dragon Pool, Nine-Dragon Fortune, Heavenfall Gambit, Dao Fruit transfer, and the resurrection of powerful beings.
  • He realizes that he may now possess, directly or indirectly, all Four Great Classics and Four Sacred Treasures, potentially giving him the foundation to establish a supreme Holy Court-level faction.
  • The eighth wave of the Jin Kingdom Tribulation descends, forcing everyone to set aside their questions and focus on surviving.
  • Great Huan successfully endures dozens of subsequent tribulation waves with minimal casualties. The tribulation strengthens the faction, stabilizes its people’s cultivation, and improves their connection to the Upper Realm.
  • By the forty-second wave, the combined power of approximately thirty billion Great Huan citizens forms a massive Heavenly Emperor Dharma Idol. Formerly departed Great Adepts—and possibly hidden Immortal Venerables—begin returning.

Character Developments

  • Xiao Ying becomes increasingly aware that his rise may be part of a vast plan arranged by Pangu Immortal Venerable. He feels both gratitude and unease, wondering what Pangu ultimately intends and how he can repay such enormous assistance.
  • Eastern Emperor Taiyi displays unusual sorrow, reluctance, and emotional turmoil when giving Xiao Ying the bell. This suggests a deep connection to the true Eastern Sovereign Bell and supports the possibility that Taiyi is the reincarnation of its artifact spirit.
  • Xiao Ying and Taiyi develop a relationship of mutual trust and cooperation, quietly exchanging treasures without revealing the truth to the other Great Adepts.
  • The people of Great Huan grow from despair and uncertainty into confidence, anticipation, and a stronger sense of belonging as they endure the tribulation together.

Significant Themes

  • Truth versus deception: Pangu’s schemes repeatedly blur the distinction between genuine and false treasures, deceiving even the strongest beings in the myriad worlds.
  • Fate and hidden design: Xiao Ying’s acquisition of the Four Classics and Four Sacred Treasures appears too consistent to be coincidence, implying that his destiny has been deliberately guided.
  • Sacrifice and inheritance: The Pangu Remnant Soul may have sacrificed itself to protect the Great Huan Faction while ensuring that Xiao Ying received the Heaven-Earth Bell.
  • Power and responsibility: Possessing the foundations of a supreme faction does not merely grant Xiao Ying power; it also raises questions about whether he can bear the associated fate and consequences.
  • Tribulation as refinement: The Jin Kingdom Tribulation destroys weakness while consolidating cultivation, unity, morale, and collective identity.

Character Interactions

  • Taiyi publicly presents the bell to Xiao Ying while concealing its true identity from the surrounding Great Adepts.
  • Xiao Ying accepts the treasure and silently understands Taiyi’s motives, choosing not to expose the exchange.
  • Xiao Ying reciprocates by lending Taiyi two powerful fire-aligned treasures suited to his Three-Legged Golden Crow form.
  • Fate Immortal Emperor, Blue Sky Empress, and the others remain suspicious of the exchange but cannot investigate because the tribulation continues.
  • The Great Huan faction collectively withstands the tribulation through the Imperial Dao and powerful formations, their shared strength manifesting as the Heavenly Emperor Dharma Idol.

Ch. 1791Two Prime Suspects

Great Huan passed the forty-second wave of the Outer-Void Jin Kingdom Tribulation with few casualties, drawing attention and hostility from returning Great Adepts. The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch warned Xiao Ying and Xiang Yu that their connection to Qin Shi Huang and Pangu Blood Essence could bring further danger.

  • Great Huan’s citizens combined their strength to form the Heavenly Emperor Dharma Aspect, which endured the forty-second lightning wave with negligible casualties.
  • Returning Great Adepts learned that the Heaven-Earth Bell had vanished, and hostile divine senses targeted Xiao Ying and his companions.
  • The Fate Immortal Emperor reported that the Heaven-Earth Bell had entered the Demon Realm, while the Pangu Remnant Soul had fled to the Sacred Province of the Immortal Realm.
  • The Blue Sky Empress and Dragon Mulberry Patriarch warned that the frustrated Great Adepts might take their anger out on Great Huan.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch asked Xiao Ying and Xiang Yu whether Qin Shi Huang had given them their Pangu Blood Essence, alarming them about the consequences.

Ch. 1792The Mystery of the Myriad Worlds

Xiao Ying explained the strange paths of the Pangu Remnant Soul and Heaven-Earth Bell in a way that shifted the great adepts’ suspicion toward Liu Bang. When the Disaster Demon Emperor demanded Huating’s blood essence, Xiao Ying refused to surrender her, and Huating stepped forward of her own accord.

  • Dragon Mulberry Patriarch questioned Xiao Ying about why the Pangu Remnant Soul and Heaven-Earth Bell had fled to unexpected locations.
  • Xiao Ying argued that Qin Shi Huang and Liu Bang represented separate aspects of Immortal Venerable Pangu, directing suspicion toward Liu Bang while concealing what he knew.
  • The great adepts’ divine senses grew less hostile after Xiao Ying’s explanation, while the Great Huan Faction continued to withstand the thunder tribulation.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor demanded that Xiao Ying hand over Great Qin’s empress, Huating, in exchange for sparing Great Huan.
  • Xiao Ying offered Huating’s blood essence but refused to surrender her, declaring that he would not betray his Dao heart.
  • Huating was moved by Xiao Ying’s protection and stepped forward of her own accord.

Ch. 1793Void Human Tribulation

Xiao Ying refused to surrender the Huating Empress or the Heavenly Emperor Scripture as the Disaster Demon Emperor and Slaughter Demon Emperor pressured Great Huan. The Jade Pure Immortal Emperor and Fate Immortal Emperor joined the confrontation, but the descending lightning tribulation temporarily shielded Great Huan from attack.

  • Xiao Ying pulled the Huating Empress away from the void and declared that Great Huan would fight rather than sacrifice her.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor demanded the Huating Empress’s blood essence, and Xiao Ying rejected the demand while explaining the danger of Great Huan’s advancement.
  • The Slaughter Demon Emperor appeared and demanded the Heavenly Emperor Scripture, but Xiao Ying claimed it could not be handed over because it could not be imparted or recovered.
  • The Disaster Demon Emperor probed Xiao Ying about the Scripture, and Xiao Ying countered his claims about its nature with mockery and wordplay.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch invoked the Myriad Worlds Pact as the Jade Pure Immortal Emperor appeared and the Blue Sky Empress condemned the Great Adepts’ shifting pretexts.
  • The Fate Immortal Emperor proposed a direct three-on-three contest, while the Great Adepts held back as the lightning tribulation descended.

Ch. 1794Wild Talk of Slaying a Venerable

As the Great Huan Faction endured the Void Thunder Tribulation, the Immortal-God Alliance closed in and the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch explained what help their powerful backers would provide. With a battle against overwhelming forces looming, Xiao Ying declared that he would personally face an Immortal Venerable if one intervened.

  • The sixtieth wave of the Void Thunder Tribulation struck, strengthening Great Huan's Heavenly Emperor Dharma Aspect while leaving its subjects depleted and the Immortal-God Alliance waiting beyond the lightning.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch warned Great Huan's leaders to prepare to withdraw or break out, then explained that their backers would hold off some enemies but would not fight openly on their behalf.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch estimated that six Supreme Rulers and forces twice or thrice Great Huan's strength could attack, possibly alongside an Immortal Venerable.
  • The Blue Sky Empress said Great Huan could fight and escape if necessary, but froze when the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch warned that an Immortal Venerable might appear.
  • Xiao Ying vowed to deal with an Immortal Venerable personally and said Great Huan could kill one to stop its enemies from hounding it.

Ch. 1795The Heavenly Emperor Battles an Immortal Venerable

As Great Huan endured the Outer-Void Jin Kingdom Tribulation, Xiao Ying warned the concealed Immortal Venerables that attacking him could lead to mutual destruction. After the tribulation brought him to the Immortal King realm, an Ultimate Immortal Venerable struck, and Xiao Ying met the attack with the Heavenly Emperor Staff.

  • Xiao Ying reassured Great Huan's forces that he could threaten an Immortal Venerable and urged them to prepare for battle.
  • Dragon Mulberry Patriarch said surrendering the Heavenly Emperor Scripture might avert conflict, but Xiao Ying rejected the idea and said a human tribulation was unavoidable.
  • Great Huan survived the sixty-third lightning wave, and Xiao Ying broke through to the Immortal King realm.
  • After the tribulation clouds dispersed, Xiao Ying warned the concealed Immortal Venerables to attack him before any chaotic battle or face the consequences.
  • An Ultimate Immortal Venerable unleashed the Great Annihilation Art and Ultimate Finger, and Xiao Ying countered with the Heavenly Emperor's Wrath and Heavenly Emperor Staff.

Ch. 1796A strike from the Heavenly Emperor

Xiao Ying used the Heavenly Emperor Staff and the power of Great Huan’s subjects to clash with the Ultimate Immortal Venerable, wounding him and forcing the gathered powers to reconsider Great Huan. As Great Huan tried to retreat, the Three-Life Buddha Emperor and thirteen other Supreme Rulers appeared to block its escape, leaving Xiao Ying and his allies facing overwhelming odds.

  • Xiao Ying’s Heavenly Emperor Dharma Aspect clashed with the Ultimate Immortal Venerable’s Ultimate Finger, and the collision wounded the Venerable while killing tens of thousands of Great Huan subjects.
  • Xiao Ying collected the Ultimate Immortal Venerable’s blood, thanked the absent seniors for their restraint, and ordered Great Huan to retreat across the Other Shore Golden Bridge.
  • The Three-Life Buddha Emperor appeared with the Three-Life Flower and blocked the bridge, while the Truth God Emperor demanded that Xiao Ying surrender the Heavenly Emperor Scripture or the Heavenly Emperor Staff.
  • Fourteen Supreme Rulers appeared, signaling the backing of five Immortal Venerables and vastly outnumbering Great Huan’s forces.
  • The Dragon Mulberry Patriarch admitted that the hostile forces might not all attack, but warned that Xiao Ying could not reliably target Supreme Rulers with Heavenly Emperor Power.

Ch. 1797Battle of the Supreme Rulers

Xiao Ying and the Great Huan Faction began fighting the Immortal-God Alliance as Supreme Rulers unleashed their arts and treasures. Xiao Ying’s Heavenly Emperor Staff damaged the Three-Life Flower and the Innate Origin Banner, but the alliance’s forces kept closing in while several Supreme Rulers remained on the sidelines.

  • Xiao Ying ordered the Great Huan Faction to battle and struck the Three-Life Buddha Emperor with the Great Stellar Art, damaging the Three-Life Flower despite failing to break through the Three-Life Storm.
  • The Three-Life Buddha Emperor retaliated with the Years Storm, but the Dragon Mulberry Patriarch shielded the Great Huan Faction and held off the Three-Life Buddha Emperor and the Genesis God Emperor.
  • The Blackwater Profound Emperor attacked with black waves, but the Fate Immortal Emperor used the River of Destiny to divert them into an Immortal-God Alliance ship and redirected the Chaos Demon Emperor’s storms into enemy ranks.
  • The Blue Sky Empress dispersed the Senluo Ghost Emperor’s Ten Thousand Ghosts’ Domain, while Xiao Ying pierced the Origin Emperor’s Innate Origin Banner and the Azurewood Demon Emperor’s Sixfold Azure Tree.
  • The Blue Sky Empress countered the Azurewood Demon Emperor’s branches with nine-colored true fire as other Supreme Rulers watched, and the Immortal-God Alliance continued advancing toward Great Huan.

Ch. 1798Battle in the Void

The Immortal-God Alliance closed in on the Great Huan Faction as Han Xin organized Great Huan’s forces for battle in the Outer Void. Their first exchange caused heavy casualties on both sides, but Great Huan gained a slight advantage and the battle continued.

  • The Immortal-God Alliance advanced with six Heaven-Grade Immortal Battleships, hundreds of other warships, and more than a thousand Great Adepts while eight Supreme Rulers fought.
  • Han Xin ordered Great Huan’s troops to avoid direct confrontation, then dissolved the super formation and organized the faction’s forces into commanded units.
  • As the armies drew close, the Immortal-God Alliance’s warships fired a massive barrage, and Great Huan’s scattered groups used spells and divine abilities to weaken the attacks.
  • The Tribulation Purple Lotus, World-Destroying Black Lotus, Heaven-Supporting Emperor Pagoda, and Karmic Fire Thunder Prison blocked the most powerful incoming strikes, while Great Huan’s Heaven-Grade ships destroyed two enemy vessels.
  • Great Huan suffered around a hundred thousand casualties in the first exchange, while the Immortal-God Alliance lost one origin-grade and one earth-grade warship.

Ch. 1799Dawn for the People

The Great Huan Faction and the Immortal-God Alliance adapted their formations and plunged into a brutal battle across the Outer Void. After Meng Shun lost his son, he led a suicidal attack that crippled an enemy warship but cost him and his entire army their lives; Meng Tian then ordered a counterattack as Great Huan’s forces continued assaulting enemy ships.

  • The Immortal-God Alliance spread out its Immortal Warships and sent cultivators forward, while the Great Huan Faction organized its forces into defensive layers and attacking armies.
  • The opposing forces met in a vast, bloody battle where neither side could clearly determine the overall course of the fighting.
  • The Cloudfloat Immortal Abode fired its Cloudfloat Calamity beam, killing Meng Gao and devastating thousands of Great Huan soldiers.
  • Grief-stricken Meng Shun formed his remaining 170,000 troops into an Arrow Formation and charged the Cloudfloat Immortal Abode, but changed course after an elder reminded him that Great Huan officials and their families had priority rights to resurrection.
  • Meng Shun’s army pierced the Stupa Buddhist Warship’s defenses and badly damaged it, but the Buddhist forces wiped out Meng Shun and his entire army.
  • Meng Tian ordered Meng Yi to attack the Cloudfloat Immortal Abode’s flanking ships and led the Meng Clan Iron Cavalry against it, while other Great Huan armies also launched costly assaults on enemy warships.

Ch. 1800Battle of Heroes

The Hero Faction, led by Calamity God Emperor Arthas, waited for the Immortal-God Alliance to close in before launching a sudden assault on its warships. Their attack breached several ships’ defenses and carried the battle inside the enemy formation.

  • Arthas commanded the Hero Factional Bloc aboard the Ancient Demon Gold Ship, whose armies included vast numbers of dragons and advanced troops from the Light, Hell, and Undead factions.
  • As the Immortal-God Alliance’s warships approached, Arthas followed Grand Commandant Han Xin’s deployment and ordered his forces to evade while awaiting the signal to attack.
  • Lord of Hell Sargeras asked Arthas to send the demon legions onto the enemy ships, and Ghost Marquis Guo Jia advised waiting until all hundred legions could transpose at once.
  • Arthas ordered the assault when the alliance fleet reached thirty li, and nearly a hundred demon legions appeared against the ships’ protective barriers.
  • Six kings of hell legions pierced the barriers and entered the warships, while the other heroes surged forward and swept across much of the alliance’s formation.
