Hill felt his vision go black... and he only had time for that brief blackout.

Even knowing full well that Selûne was deliberately looking for amusement, Shar still could not restrain the urge to give her sister a savage beating. A black shadow, streaked with violet radiance, shot straight toward that silver-blue moonlight.

The Floating Castle shuddered several times amid a tremendous BOOM... The Crystal Flowers in the pool emitted streams of transparent light, weaving into a fishing net across the sky as the mist in the air rolled ceaselessly within it... Fortunately, before Hill could leap into the pool and shield the Crystal Flowers with his body, this clash between Primordial Light and Primordial Darkness subsided.

Hill sighed as he climbed out of the pool. He first had Liszt reassure Lynn, telling him not to come up and check whether Hill was safe. He also had him inform Falan that although there would certainly be little disturbances with quite a bit of commotion lately, they had nothing to do with Hill... so no matter how fierce things became here, he did not need to come over... Hill had already spotted Purvi's enormous head poking out from the clouds.

Hill touched his long hair, grateful for the first time that he could control Water Elementals. No matter how many times they fought, at least he would not have to roll around soaking wet.

There was also something else worth being grateful for: both Shar and Selûne had probably been prepared for this situation, so their seal around the Floating Castle was exceptionally tight... Even if the Gods of Toril in the Astral Plane were itching with curiosity, no one besides Ao likely had the ability to peer inside.

Hill silently sighed and counted the nine Chaos Crystals in the pool...
