A colossal crimson Pokémon with a Y-shaped body slowly rose from the forest into the night sky.

Its broad wings were wrapped in black veins that pulsed like breathing. An almost tangible aura of death formed a terrifying field that blotted out the sky and covered the land.

Xia Chen knew the Pokémon before him all too well. It was Yveltal, the first Legendary Pokémon he had encountered after arriving in this world!

Compared to when it had just awakened two years ago, the fully recovered Yveltal now possessed an even more overwhelming presence.

The crushing aura of death instantly swallowed all life throughout the forest.

Flowers, grass, Pokémon—everything began visibly withering away in an instant.

Xia Chen cursed inwardly and could not help looking at Xerneas standing behind him.

The surrounding ruined life rapidly recovered under the infusion of that energy, reviving in an almost unbelievable manner.

In the blink of an eye, the horrifying devastation caused by Yveltal vanished without a trace.

Yet Xia Chen's vigilance did not lessen. Destruction was far easier than creation. Lysandre had still dared to come despite knowing Xia Chen was here; he must have had his reasons. Xia Chen could not let himself be led around by the nose.
