• Lin Hai arrived in New York, met Chen Bing, learned Chen-Style Taiji, and discovered that his energy could nourish plants and draw Life Energy from them.
• Lin Hai became friends with Peter, Harry, and Gwen, developed combat plants and healing abilities, and uncovered Red Moon’s unusual energy with the Osborn research team.
• Lin Hai sensed ancient energy in Kunlun Bamboo during a visit to Huaxia and returned to New York carrying a branch.
• Lin Hai and his friends tracked the Haralapa Gang’s Devil’s Breath distribution network, destroyed seven transaction points, and handed evidence to the police.
• Lin Hai trained to expand his plant powers, then joined Harry and the Osborn team in Missouri, where he recognized a buried flower bud as his alien seed.
• Lin Hai absorbed energy from the bud until the Seven-Colored Essence fused his energies into Emerald Energy, strengthening his body and plant control.

Lin Hai helped Peter and Harry become heroes, then traveled to Ta Lo and deepened his powers through his bond with the Azure Dragon. After returning to New York, he was summoned to the hidden New York Sanctum Sanctorum by The Ancient One.

• Lin Hai cured Norman Osborn of the Enhancement Serum’s effects, then took Harry, Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane to Missouri, where he found and absorbed the Life Force of Ego’s Flower Bud.
• Peter was bitten by Richard Parker’s special spider and developed spider-like powers, while Lin Hai taught him to control his strength and helped him understand his responsibilities.
• Connors transformed into the Lizard and tried to spread his serum through a storm, but Peter and Lin Hai stopped him and restored his sanity with a Purification Agent.
• Harry, Peter, Gwen, and Lin Hai built the Nova Armor and Spider-Suit, while Lin Hai began training Harry and Pepper Potts bought plants from his clinic.
• Lin Hai traveled to Huaxia, found Ta Lo Village, healed the Azure Dragon, and rode it through the sky.
• The Azure Dragon shared its Divine Dragon Heart with Lin Hai, and the pair used Dragon Ascent to destroy a mountain peak before Lin Hai healed the dragon.
• Lin Hai studied the Ta Lo Method, learned Energy Projection, and returned to New York, where he showed his friends his new ability while keeping Ta Lo’s secrets.
• The Ancient One visited Lin Hai and invited him to the New York Sanctum, and Lin Hai followed her golden card to 177A Bleecker Street and knocked on its hidden door.

Lin Hai brought Gwen, Peter, and Harry into the world of magic, helped them defeat Frost’s vampire ritual, and guided them through their studies and plans for the future. After taking his friends to Huaxia, he led them into Ta Lo, where they met its guardians and Azure Dragon before joining a village training session.

• Lin Hai met The Ancient One at Kamar-Taj, learned that his arrival had altered some paths of fate, and began studying magic with Hamil’s help.
• Lin Hai brought Gwen, Peter, and Harry to Kamar-Taj, where The Ancient One identified Peter’s Spider-Totem powers, directed Harry toward business and technology, and accepted Gwen as a trainee.
• Lin Hai and his friends joined Blade in Los Angeles to fight the Blood Clan, and Lin Hai destroyed Frost after Blade lured him into Karen’s vampire serum.
• Back in New York, the four friends pursued their studies and careers, with Gwen learning to cast shields, Lin Hai mastering Portal Magic, Peter winning the school science fair, and Harry gaining responsibility for a recruitment plan at Osborn Group.
• Lin Hai invited his friends to Huaxia, brought them to his family home, and then guided them toward Ta Lo after its defenses disrupted his attempt to open a Portal.
• Lin Hai signaled Ta Lo’s guardians with the Divine Dragon Heart, and Old Chen welcomed the group and led them through the hidden passage into the village.
• Lin Hai introduced his friends to Ta Lo’s creatures and took them to meet Azure Dragon, which greeted them and flew with Lin Hai over the lake.
• Lin Hai led Peter and Harry through a sparring match at the training ground while Gwen watched, ending the session victorious and leaving both boys exhausted.

Lin Hai and his friends defeated Tanner, then prepared for college and settled into life together at Caltech. With their new home and lab in place, Lin Hai proposed a business plan to help superheroes earn money.

• Tanner hunted Peter and disrupted his Spider-Sense, but Lin Hai and the others trapped him before Lin Hai’s Cannon Punch purified him.
• The friends returned to school, supported Peter’s acting and travel plans with Mary Jane, and all four received acceptance to Caltech.
• Lin Hai, Gwen, Peter, and Harry planned their studies and housing, then finalized permission to live off campus in Los Angeles.
• The four chose a two-story house and agreed to share its cost, with Harry paying one-third and Peter allowed to defer his share.
• Lin Hai proposed adapting Vought Company’s business model to create income for superheroes, and Gwen and Harry offered their support.
• The friends began classes, settled into shared routines, and had Harry convert the basement into a laboratory.
• After dinner on Friday, Lin Hai brought out a notepad and proposed starting the Superhero Profit Plan.
