After dealing with Wakanda's Vibranium, Loren devoted his full attention to the newly acquired [Artificial Angel Technology].

Since the system had rewarded him with the technology, he intended to put it to use. It was time to create Ikaros, the Artificial Angel known as the Queen of the Sky.

At the center of the laboratory, a holographic blueprint hovered in the air, so intricate and precise it made the eyes swim.

Guided by an energy field, countless tiny Vibranium particles slowly assembled around a core, forming the beginnings of a perfect body.

This was the initial framework for Ikaros, the Queen of the Sky.

Alice helped process the torrents of data nearby, while Android 18 stood quietly at the door like the most loyal of guards.

Just as Loren immersed himself in building Ikaros, a surge of magical energy suddenly appeared in his laboratory.

Startled, he immediately turned toward it.

A bald woman appeared out of thin air. It was none other than the Ancient One of Kamar-Taj.

But the Ancient One who appeared before him was not there in the flesh. She was a spirit.

Seeing her arrive in spirit form, Loren immediately had a bad feeling.

Before he could ask anything, the Ancient One spoke. "Loren, I've come to say goodbye. My time is up. It's time for me to leave this world."

Sorrow crossed Loren's face. The Ancient One was Earth's guardian, the keeper of its dimensional barriers.

Her natural lifespan had ended long ago. She had survived until now by drawing power from the Dark Dimension.

But that power would eventually consume her and turn her into a puppet of the Dark Dimension. That was not what she wanted.

She had struggled to stay alive because she feared there would be no one to protect Earth
