Background

Bifulong originates from Teyvat as a Demon God associated with fungi. Before becoming Lan Yu’s spirit, he relied heavily on delicious mushroom avatars to gain worship, only for humans to consume them so extensively that his faith and power collapsed. Lan Yu later criticizes him for neglecting the more fundamental mycelium network that mushrooms require to spread and survive 1.

He manifests during Lan Yu’s spirit-awakening ceremony as an unfamiliar mushroom spirit. Initially sleeping and arrogant upon waking, Bifulong calls Lan Yu his follower and proposes rebuilding his strength by spreading mushroom avatars.
