Background / History

Bibi Dong was Spirit Hall’s Saintess and Qian Xunji’s disciple. She loved Yu Xiaogang and intended to relinquish her position and leave Spirit Hall with him. She also gave him access to Spirit Hall’s accumulated Martial Soul research and, at one point, granted him a Pope’s Order and elder status; both privileges were later revoked 82 83 84 94.

When she attempted to leave, Qian Xunji imprisoned and sexually assaulted her. Qian Renxue was born as a result. According to Qian Daoliu’s later account, Bibi Dong associated her daughter with that trauma. She subsequently killed Qian Xunji after he returned to Spirit City gravely wounded, although the public believed Tang Hao was responsible for his death 94 95.

By the beginning of Jin Hao’s infiltration, Bibi Dong has served as Pope for four years. Despite holding Spirit Hall’s highest administrative office, she continues to hate the institution and the Angel Family.
