Background

Qian Renxue is the daughter of former Spirit Hall Pope Qian Xunji and current Pope Bibi Dong, as well as Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. Her father died when she was young, while Bibi Dong treated her with coldness and disgust rather than maternal affection. Qian Daoliu was her principal source of family support. 22 27

At the age of nine, Qian Renxue was sent to Tiandou City on an undercover assignment. Spirit Hall publicly claimed that she had died prematurely, allowing her to assume the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. 7 15 20

Qian Daoliu later informed her of Su Yu, a boy whose appearance strongly resembles Qian Xunji and whom he wanted her to regard as a younger brother. Although initially skeptical and unsettled, she met Su Yu personally at Tiandou City’s gates and brought him to the Crown Prince Manor. 20

In her true form, Qian Renxue has long golden hair, clear golden eyes, and a proud, strikingly beautiful appearance. She wears a white angelic gown with gold trim. 20

Beneath that pride, she is emotionally vulnerable due to her isolated childhood and fractured relationship with Bibi Dong. Su Yu’s willingness to treat her as family quickly softens her hostility; after receiving the Holy Light Mystic Origin Flower, she warmly welcomes him to Tiandou City and promises to stay by his side. 22

Qian Renxue receives Qian Daoliu’s letter revealing Su Yu’s existence, abandons her Xue Qinghe disguise, and meets him at the Tiandou City gates. His resemblance to Qian Xunji and his Spirit Ancestor cultivation leave her deeply shocked. 20

She initially tries to assert herself as the elder sibling, but Su Yu repeatedly provokes her while explaining his Whale Glue method, evolved Four-Winged Martial Souls, and extraordinary spirit rings. 21

Reconciliation and Spirit King Breakthrough

Her jealousy of Su Yu’s power is resolved when he gives her the Holy Light Mystic Origin Flower. She apologizes, embraces him, hosts a banquet, and begins treating him as a genuine younger brother. 22

After refining the herb, Qian Renxue reaches Spirit King. She seeks Su Yu’s praise for her improved appearance and strength, only for him to tease her again. 26

Fifth Spirit Ring Hunt

Qian Renxue forces Su Yu to accompany her and Greenlark Douluo to the Star Dou Great Forest. After consuming processed fifty-thousand-year Whale Glue, she successfully absorbs the more than twenty-thousand-year Radiant Saint Feather Sparrow Spirit Ring. 26 27
