Lieyang had just transmigrated when Snow Emperor discovered him in the blizzard. His presence pulled her back from the edge of darkness, and she interpreted his infant babbling as calling her mother. She named him Beiming Lieyang, likening him to a blazing sun rising from the northern abyss; the name coincidentally matched his original name. 1

Chen Xin and Ning Fengzhi discover Gu Rong's mental subjugation and confront Lieyang. He offers Gu Rong's release if Chen Xin can defeat him, then effortlessly withstands the Sword Douluo's attacks even after Ning Fengzhi supplies extensive amplification. 80
