Ice Emperor returned to the Ice Crystal Palace to find Snow Emperor caring for a human infant, Beiming Lieyang. Initially alarmed by the child’s connection to the dangerous blue bead, she accepted him after learning that he had helped Snow Emperor resist its influence; Snow Emperor introduced her to him as “Auntie Bing.” 2 3

During Lieyang’s early childhood, she frequently traveled to human lands to gather Whale Glue and brewed it with Far North spiritual herbs into tonic soup, hoping to strengthen his body and increase the spirit-ring age he could bear. 4 His awakening of the Void Mysterious Ice fascinated her immediately, particularly its scent and its potential as food, cultivation material, and a threefold enhancer. 4 5 8
