It manifested during Beiming Lieyang's Martial Soul awakening immediately after Solar Star God Apollo. The violent collision of Apollo's heat with Void Mysterious Ice's extreme cold confirmed that Lieyang possessed Twin Martial Souls, alarming Snow Emperor and Ice Emperor because historical Twin Martial Soul users died when incompatible Spirit Rings conflicted. 4

Lieyang chose Void Mysterious Ice as his first cultivated Martial Soul because the Far North's environment favors Ultimate Ice. Far North Tribulations

Refined Void Mysterious Ice became decisive in Ice Emperor's and Snow Emperor's heavenly tribulations, allowing both to withstand lightning, temper their foundations, and achieve major cultivation increases. 11 12

Resource of the Far North

After becoming increasingly pure and energy-dense, Void Mysterious Ice changed from a personal Martial Soul into a strategic resource. Snow Emperor distributed more than one hundred condensed pieces to the Far North's major tribes and used them to promote tribulation survival, territorial defense, and organized advancement. 42 47 57

Lieyang and five Apollo Puppets produced the initial large batch over an entire day and night. Snow Emperor allocated two portions to the Ice Jade Scorpions, one each to Atai's and Xiaobai's clans, and retained two portions for emergencies. Atai and Xiaobai were also tasked with supplying isolated high-year soul beasts, whose successful advancement would provide new regional defenders. 47

The program began producing visible results among the Ice Jade Scorpions. Ice Emperor reminded newly advanced members that reaching the required cultivation did not exempt them from lightning tribulations, while Xiaobing regained confidence in attempting a breakthrough and eventually sacrificing herself to Lieyang. 52

Teleportation Network

Lieyang began burying hollow Void Mysterious Ice anchors across the continent. Mysterious Ice Mark allows him to teleport to anchors within spiritual range, while Apollo Puppets accelerated the construction work. 21 38 54 59

The network expanded to half of the Heaven Dou Empire and supported the transfer of objects as well as personal travel. Its markers also extended Lieyang's spiritual awareness, enabling him to locate the enormous presence associated with Tianmeng Ice Silkworm near the Star Dou Great Forest. 54 59

Star Dou Confrontation

The ice immobilized and mentally overwhelmed Tianmeng Ice Silkworm, later became part of the plan to exploit Tianmeng's sacrifice, and was used by an Apollo Puppet to heal, amplify, and corrode Wanyaowang after defeating him. 61 62 73

During the subsequent feast, Lieyang infused Tianmeng's meat with Void Mysterious Ice to improve its energy content. Its restorative properties also became part of his plan to lure the injured Gu Yuena away from Di Tian. 74 76

Covert Support Against Tang Hao

Ice Emperor secretly supplied Void Mysterious Ice to the Scarfaces during their battle with Tang Hao. It restored their depleted power, enhanced their attributes, and allowed them to keep using their Martial Soul Fusion Skill far longer than Tang Hao expected. Lieyang separately modified their memories so they would not recognize that they had received outside assistance. 89 90
