The Auspicious Beast is the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, a rare Soul Beast whose existence gathers and represents the fortune of the Star Dou Great Forest. Her presence benefits nearby Soul Beasts, accelerating their growth and helping Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts overcome cultivation bottlenecks. This status gives her exceptional importance within the forest. 30

While Li Ming absorbed the Ten-Thousand-Year Unicorn Soul Ring, she secretly approached his group after detecting fortune around him that exceeded even her own. Using the Eye of Destiny to examine him, she witnessed countless possible futures and concluded that he was crucial to the Star Dou Great Forest’s survival, though she could not determine whether he threatened or would restore its future. 30

Forced to decide quickly before Di Tian discovered her absence, she gave half of the fortune she carried to Li Ming, fused it to him through his Soul Bone, and spent considerable vitality to strengthen his Soul Ring. She then withdrew to prevent Di Tian from finding the human group and harming them. 30 31

Her return to the forest revealed the cost of this choice: she had lost much of her origin power and half of the forest’s fortune borne by her. She defended her decision before Di Tian, maintaining that her vision of the Soul Beast Clan’s decline made the gamble necessary.
