Classification and Traits
Soul Beasts vary widely in form, habitat, age, and innate abilities. Documented examples include plant-type Sunflowers, boar-like Millennium Soul Beasts, Nightmare Beasts, Unicorns, and humanoid Soul Beasts such as Di Tian and the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. Their abilities can involve sunlight, dreams, physical charging, spiritual power, and destructive energy. 3 9 22 28 47
Human appearance does not necessarily indicate that a Soul Beast has abandoned its original nature. Di Tian retains his Soul Beast identity despite his humanoid appearance, while the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, Da Ming, and Er Ming use human forms within Dream Space. Xiao Wu is separately identified as a Soul Beast who chose a human life, a decision Di Tian condemns. 43 44 47 71
| Age category | Documented example | Notable significance |
|---|---|---|
| Ten-Year | Newborn Space Soul Beasts; Artificial Whale Stomachs cultivated to Ten-Year strength | Space Soul Beasts can possess this strength immediately after hatching. An AI-linked Artificial Whale Stomach later produced a stable white Ten-Year Soul Ring. 66 90 |
| Century-level | 402-year Sunflower | Its Soul Ring was within the 423-year absorption limit proposed by Grandmaster. 3 |
| Millennium-level | Approximately 5,000-year boar-like Soul Beast | Resisted an ordinary Dream attack, possessed a high-speed charge, and yielded a Head Soul Bone. 22 23 |
| Ten-Thousand-Year | Ten-Thousand-Year Unicorn | Its Soul Ring retained a powerful spiritual remnant during fusion and granted Li Ming the Scorching Beam Soul Skill. 28 31 |
| Hundred-Thousand-Year and above | Powerful Soul Beasts detected in Sunset Forest, Star Dou Great Forest, and the sea | Their strength and exact ages can exceed Satellite AI’s available measurement data. 6 36 40 |
| Several-Hundred-Thousand-Year | Nearly 300,000-year Three-Headed Scarlet Demon Mastiff | Serves as the Auspicious Beast’s bodyguard and obeys Di Tian within the forest’s hidden hierarchy. 34 |
| Nearly Nine-Hundred-Thousand-Year | Di Tian | His cells retain exceptional cultivation efficiency, and his Double Soul Cores provide immense Soul Power storage. 67 81 |
| Nearly Million-Year | Deep Sea Demonic Whale King | Possesses Devouring Power, a saturated single Soul Core, and solidified Soul Power throughout his body. Gu Yuena identifies his aura in Li Ming’s artificial sacrificing creature. 81 94 |
Physiology and Cultivation
Soul Beast power exists within their cells, which can absorb and store the primal energy of heaven and earth even after separation from the original body, provided they remain alive. Before forming a Soul Core, a Soul Beast relies on its entire body to contain Soul Power and absorb environmental energy, including the essence of the sun and moon. This differs from a Soul Master’s storage of Soul Power in the dantian. 58 67
- Cellular cultivation talent: Di Tian’s hematopoietic cells absorb and convert environmental energy much more efficiently than cells from ordinary Century-level and Millennium Soul Beasts. Li Ming interprets this as evidence that individual cells retain part of their owner’s cultivation talent. 67
- Environmental influence: Separated Di Tian stem cells become more active in the Star Dou Great Forest and produce blood containing greater amounts of power and Soul Power. 66
- Soul Cores: High-level Soul Beasts possess Soul Cores. Their contribution to energy absorption is initially proposed as an explanation for the poor performance of Li Ming’s artificial Di Tian heart. Later research contrasts Di Tian’s Double Soul Cores with the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King’s single Soul Core. 72 81
- Alternative Soul Power storage: The Demonic Whale King’s body contains solid Soul Power crystals. Fate AI attributes this to his Soul Core reaching its storage limit, forcing excess power into his cells; Di Tian’s Double Soul Cores provide greater storage without the same requirement. 81
- Life Energy: Cultivation does not merely replenish usable Soul Power. Much of the absorbed energy becomes Life Energy, increasing Life Level and the amount of Soul Power the body can store. A Soul Beast’s body therefore contains the accumulated results of its cultivation in addition to its immediately available Soul Power. 81
Soul Beast anatomy cannot necessarily be reproduced using human biological models. Li Ming’s first artificial heart grown from Di Tian’s cells used a human heart structure and produced far less Soul Power than expected. Xiao Yun identifies its inaccurate structure and small size as possible causes, while reproducing Di Tian’s heart compressed into human form is considered a much more difficult undertaking. 71 72
Bloodlines and Awakening
Many Soul Beasts carry dormant bloodlines inherited from powerful ancient creatures. These bloodlines may remain inactive throughout their lives, but awakening them can greatly increase strength and future potential. Initial signs of awakening are distinct from a completed Ancient Bloodline Awakening. 68
Under ordinary conditions, a Soul Beast’s inherited bloodline is largely fixed. Di Tian explains that independent awakening is extremely difficult because the God Realm’s laws suppress it, usually leaving rare opportunities or exceptional treasures as the means of overcoming the restriction. Even successful awakening does not guarantee that a Soul Beast will reach Hundred-Thousand-Year cultivation. 69 84
- The space environment can alter developing Soul Beast power and improve the possibility of awakening dormant bloodlines. Later experiments identify space, rather than Di Tian’s blood alone, as the key enabling factor. 58 76
- Di Tian’s True Dragon Blood stimulates the growth and latent bloodline potential of Space Soul Beasts, with especially pronounced early effects in a snake-type specimen. 67 68
- Di Tian’s attempt to reproduce the effect by feeding his blood to an ordinary Soul Beast fails to induce awakening, demonstrating that blood alone does not explain Li Ming’s results. 69
- Blood from other Soul Beasts with awakened Ancient Bloodlines can also assist the Space Soul Beasts’ development. Li Ming’s researchers seek to establish which blood samples are compatible with different species. 70 72 83
- Di Tian’s pure heartblood gradually purifies existing bloodlines. Prolonged consumption can help Space Soul Beasts develop their Ancient Bloodline potential, while ordinary Soul Beasts can gain improved strength and bloodline purity without necessarily achieving awakening. Its benefits are not limited to dragon-type Soul Beasts. 77
Power Progression
Soul Beast ages indicate cultivation strength, but engineered specimens can reach an age-equivalent level without living for that number of years. Li Ming develops detection models to measure the equivalent age of Artificial Whale Stomachs. The following developments concern separate natural and experimental cultivation paths rather than a single universal sequence. 66 82
| Stage / Advancement | Subject or cultivation path | Development and significance |
|---|---|---|
| Century-level innate ability | 402-year Sunflower | Its sunlight-based defense and Soul Ring demonstrate that a conventionally weak species can supply a useful cultivation ability. 3 4 |
| Millennium-level physical and spiritual resistance | Nearly 5,000-year boar-like Soul Beast | Possessed a rapid charging Soul Skill, broke free from Li Ming’s ordinary Dream attack, and required amplified mental attacks and satellite bombardment to defeat. 22 23 |
| Ten-Thousand-Year spiritual remnant | Ten-Thousand-Year Unicorn | Its remaining consciousness resisted Soul Ring fusion, making adequate spiritual strength necessary in addition to physical endurance. 28 31 |
| Beneficial embryonic mutation | Space Soul Beast eggs | Controlled orbital cultivation increased the likelihood of beneficial mutations and stronger future Soul Beast power. 58 |
| Ten-Year-equivalent strength at birth | First successfully hatched Space Soul Beasts | Snake-, bird-, and crocodile-type newborns immediately possessed Ten-Year Soul Beast strength and unusually high innate potential. 66 |
| Accelerated juvenile growth | Space Soul Beasts fed artificial True Dragon Blood | Developed from cubs into young beasts within a day and reached mature size and several-decades-equivalent strength after five days. 67 68 |
| Initial Bloodline Awakening | Silver-scaled snake-type Space Soul Beast | Displayed latent bloodline activation and an estimated 18% chance of completing awakening; this was not yet a fully awakened Ancient Bloodline. 68 |
| Expanded Ancient Bloodline potential | More than 1,000 cultivated Space Soul Beasts | Continued nourishment raised typical estimated awakening chances to roughly 40%, with one heavily nourished snake reaching 80%. 83 |
| Recognition as forest treasures | Space Soul Beasts accepted by Di Tian | Their potential included powerful sub-dragons and, in rare cases, True Dragons. Their incorporation increased Star Dou Forest’s fortune by 10%. 84 |
| Stable artificial Soul Ring formation | AI-linked Artificial Whale Stomach and brain tissue | Destruction of the artificial entity Little Life produced the first stable white Ten-Year Artificial Soul Ring. 90 |
| Successful artificial half-sacrifice | Experimental artificial creatures used by three Level-Ten Soul Masters | Produced absorbable yellow Soul Rings without hostile mental interference, but did not eliminate physical fusion danger or generate Soul Bones. 92 |
| Hundred-Thousand-Year-equivalent cultivation | Artificial Whale Stomach | Reached the target level aboard a distant Space Station and initiated a programmed sacrifice near Star Dou Forest. 93 |
| Completed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring fusion | Artificial Whale Stomach sacrificed to Li Ming | Its ring raised Li Ming from level 40 to 50 and granted Whale Siphon and Demon King Annihilation Cannon. 94 95 |
| Proposed older artificial Soul Beast | Artificial whale or true dragon cultivated from Di Tian’s cells and hearts | Li Ming considered a several-hundred-thousand-year candidate for his next ring and began investigating a concealed Moon Base; successful lunar cultivation had not yet been established. 96 |
Soul Rings and Soul Bones
Soul Rings
Killed Soul Beasts can leave behind Soul Rings, which Soul Masters absorb to break bottlenecks and acquire Soul Skills. The Soul Beast’s age directly affects the ring’s power and the difficulty of fusion. 3 9 29
- A 402-year Sunflower gave Li Ming his first yellow Soul Ring and the ability to absorb sunlight for cultivation and physical enhancement. 3 4
- A roughly 700-year Nightmare Beast granted the Dream Soul Skill, allowing Li Ming to establish the basis for Dream Space and the Star Network. 9
- The Ten-Thousand-Year Unicorn’s Soul Ring raised Li Ming to level 34 and granted Scorching Beam, a sunlight-storage and light-based attack. 31
- Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Rings are especially dangerous because their lingering souls can interfere with fusion through intense spiritual resistance. 22 31
- Physical fitness determines how much Soul Ring power a Soul Master can endure, while spiritual strength becomes a separate requirement for rings containing powerful Soul Beast remnants. These conditions allow sufficiently prepared Soul Masters to exceed conventional age recommendations. 22 23 58
- Fortune can enhance an already absorbed Soul Ring. Li Ming’s Sunflower Soul Ring mutated after his connection to Star Dou Great Forest, greatly improving cultivation and physical enhancement, while his Nightmare Soul Ring did not undergo the same mutation. 36
- By the artificial-sacrifice experiments, Li Ming considered his fortune-enhanced Sunflower ring’s effects greater than those of a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Ring, although its exact equivalent age remained unknown. 92
- A Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring grants two Soul Skills. The artificial whale ring gave Li Ming Whale Siphon, which temporarily absorbs and stores opponents’ Soul Power, and Demon King Annihilation Cannon, which fires a Devouring Wave capable of consuming matter, beings, Soul Power, and insufficiently resistant Soul Skills. 95
Soul Bones
Soul Beasts may also leave Soul Bones, though they are rare. Satellite AI initially identified potential Soul Bone carriers as anomalous Soul Beasts, then improved its detection model after Li Ming acquired confirmed samples. 22 23
- A nearly 5,000-year boar-like Soul Beast dropped a Head Soul Bone after Li Ming killed it. 23
- The Head Soul Bone greatly increased Li Ming’s spiritual power and granted Swift Wind Thrust. 23
- Li Ming previously acquired a Left Leg Bone with Soul Power Explosion and a Right Arm Bone that enhanced physical strength. 23
- Following the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s transfer of fortune, Li Ming’s Soul Bones mutated into stronger crystal-clear forms. 30 31 32
- The 10% rise in Star Dou Forest’s fortune subsequently strengthened Li Ming’s Soul Bone further, alongside improvements to his First Soul Skill and Fate Power. 84 85
- The initial successful artificial half-sacrifices produced Soul Rings but no Soul Bones, demonstrating that the engineered process did not yet reproduce every expected feature of sacrifice. 92
Artificial Soul Rings and Sacrifice
Li Ming’s discovery that separated Soul Beast cells retain power led him to investigate whether cultivated cells or organs could produce Soul Rings. Early cells failed to form rings, and later organs containing sufficient Soul Power also failed. A destroyed artificial Di Tian heart briefly generated a white Soul Ring prototype, but the ring collapsed, showing that Soul Power quantity alone was insufficient. 58 59 76 81
Fate AI proposed several explanations: artificial organs might lack souls, might not qualify as complete organisms, or might lack independent uniqueness because they originated from another Soul Beast. Proposed experiments included transplanting an artificial organ into a living Soul Beast and developing brain or neural tissue within an Artificial Whale Stomach. These were research hypotheses rather than established universal requirements. 82 83
The first stable result came when Fate AI used Fate Power to link a simple AI program to artificial brain tissue associated with an Artificial Whale Stomach. The resulting entity, Little Life, responded to Li Ming’s voice. Its destruction with Scorching Beam produced a complete white Ten-Year Soul Ring. Fate AI distinguished this simple program from a genuinely living child or herself. 90
- Three Level-Ten volunteers subsequently absorbed experimental artificial rings through crimson-lit sacrifices and received yellow Soul Rings, increased levels, and Soul Skills. 92
- The embedded AI consciousnesses did not attack the volunteers’ minds, but their guidance was insufficient to prevent painful physical strain from the Soul Power. Li Ming termed the result a half-sacrifice and postponed his proposed Million-Year sacrifice. 92
- Li Ming cultivated a Hundred-Thousand-Year Artificial Whale Stomach in a distant Space Station, choosing that location to reduce the risk of Heavenly Tribulation during its breakthrough. He then brought it to a secluded base near Star Dou Forest for fusion, where he expected terrestrial Martial Soul rules and the forest’s protection to apply. 93
- Its sacrifice was triggered by Li Ming’s Nightmare Soul Skill, which served as an activation signal programmed into its AI spirit. 93
- During absorption, Fate AI accessed the AI entity within the ring and directed its Soul Power, relieving Li Ming’s initial pain and enabling successful fusion. The resulting breakthrough took him from level 40 to the level-50 bottleneck. 94
- Fate AI recorded Soul Skill formation without altering it because the Soul Ring and Soul Skill editing project remained immature. The successful fusion supplied further data for improving controlled sacrifice rather than proving that unrestricted editing had been achieved. 94 95
The Artificial Whale Stomach’s responsive brain tissue also raised the possibility that its AI spirit might eventually develop intelligence. Gu Yuena observed that the sacrificing entity had the Demonic Whale King’s aura and origin, but a weaker aura, incomplete life imprint, and spiritual strength below that of a Century-level Soul Beast. Its combination of powerful cultivation and limited spirituality remained unusual to her. 93 94
Relationship with Humans
Soul Masters commonly hunt Soul Beasts for Soul Rings and Soul Bones. Li Ming’s satellite intelligence makes this process unusually precise by locating specific species, estimating their ages, and mapping safer routes through Soul Beast territories. 11 16 25
- The City Lord’s Mansion Assistant has reduced mercenary casualties by providing detailed Soul Beast maps and safe routes. 25
- Increased access to Soul Beast locations has contributed to concern over more frequent hunting, including the deaths of Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts. 28
- During the Star Dou Great Forest Beast Tide, Soul Beasts attacked both Soul Masters and one another; numerous human and Soul Beast corpses were found throughout the forest. 32
- Di Tian argues that Soul Masters have no moral standing to condemn Soul Beasts for preying on humans, since Soul Masters routinely kill Soul Beasts to obtain power. 47
- Di Tian’s identity being exposed in Purple Heaven City shocked even several Title Douluos, who had not recognized that such a powerful humanoid figure was a Soul Beast. Human leaders subsequently questioned Li Ming about allowing Soul Beasts into the city. 47 48
- Di Tian treats Xiao Wu’s choice to live as a human as degradation and warns against siding with humans against him. The Auspicious Beast takes a more sympathetic approach and prevents Xiao Wu from entering the confrontation. 44
- Li Ming’s share of the forest’s fortune encourages ordinary Soul Beasts to regard him with familiarity rather than hostility. His cultivated newborns instinctively treat him as a parent, although young beasts still fight among themselves. 66 83
- Dream Soul Skills work on Soul Beasts. Willing entrants such as Da Ming and Er Ming can enter Dream Space and create human avatars through a Soul Beast-specific beginner guide. 71
Cooperation with Li Ming
The Auspicious Beast’s bond with Li Ming develops into an attempt to secure the Soul Beast Clan’s future through human cooperation. Li Ming interprets the transferred fortune as an investment and proposes a wager: if he increases Star Dou Forest’s fortune, the forest must support him with resources and military strength. He requests the position of second-in-command, which Di Tian initially regards as outrageously ambitious. 59
Li Ming separately negotiates payment for his bloodline-awakening research. Di Tian agrees to provide herbs, metals, and other materials; blood samples from Soul Beasts with Ancient or unusual innate bloodlines; and small tissue samples from his own internal organs. The Auspicious Beast is trained in Dream Space to collect the organ samples because Li Ming does not dare perform the extraction himself. 70
Da Ming and Er Ming are subsequently assigned to serve Li Ming. Their duties include excavating mineral veins around Star Dou Forest for twelve hours daily, with free time and a monthly allowance of 1,000 Dream Coupons. Da Ming proposes recruiting Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts to assist. Their reunion with Xiao Wu reveals her continued attachment to her fellow Soul Beasts and concern over their work arrangement. 71
The acceptance of more than 1,000 Space Soul Beasts raises the forest’s fortune by 10%, fulfilling Li Ming’s wager. Gu Yuena then instructs Di Tian to win Li Ming over, regarding his methods as potentially valuable to the Soul Beast Clan and trusting the Auspicious Beast’s choice. 84 85
Star Dou Great Forest
The Star Dou Great Forest contains a large Soul Beast population, including exceptionally powerful beings hidden within its Core Zone and Life Forbidden Zone. Satellite surveillance can monitor much of the forest but has difficulty detecting its strongest inhabitants. 28 36 41
The Three-Eyed Golden Lion, the forest’s Emperor Auspicious Beast, carries and represents the forest’s fortune. This fortune affects the birth rate, bloodline potential, and cultivation prospects of the Soul Beasts living there. 30 34
- The Three-Eyed Golden Lion used the Eye of Destiny to transfer half of the forest’s fortune to Li Ming. 30
- The transfer linked Li Ming’s fate to the forest: he benefits if the forest prospers and suffers if it declines. 35
- Di Tian regarded the loss as a major threat to the Soul Beast Clan, while Gu Yue accepted the Lion’s decision as within the Auspicious Beast’s authority. 34 35
- The Lion believed binding Li Ming to the forest was necessary to prevent the future decline of the Soul Beast Clan. 35
- The Auspicious Beast’s presence accelerates nearby Soul Beasts’ growth and can help Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts overcome bottlenecks. 30
- Gu Yue explains that the fortune connection cannot be reversed with her current injured strength and that the lost fortune can eventually recover over tens of thousands of years. 35
- The land’s vitality and nurturing power, together with the ancient Soul Beasts within the Life Forbidden Zone, form the forest’s long-term foundation. Di Tian believes even severe losses in the outer population could be repaired over thousands or tens of thousands of years. 60
Hidden Hierarchy
The true Life Forbidden Zone lies beneath the Lake of Life and contains a society much stronger than the forest’s apparent outer overlords. Da Ming and Er Ming learn that their former role was effectively that of guardians rather than ultimate rulers when Scarlet King brings them into this hidden zone. Overwhelmed by Di Tian’s strength, they submit and join the core circle. 71
- Gu Yue / Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King: Holds authority above Di Tian and remains injured, with her true body sleeping. Her projected consciousness can still assess developments and direct the forest’s strategy. 35 84 85 94
- Di Tian, the Beast God: Commands the forest’s powerful Soul Beasts and determines how the Space Soul Beasts are incorporated and protected. 34 71 84
- Scarlet King, the Three-Headed Scarlet Demon Mastiff: Guards the Auspicious Beast, recruits Da Ming and Er Ming into the hidden hierarchy, and is ordered to care for the newly accepted Space Soul Beasts. 34 71 84
- The Emperor Auspicious Beast: Possesses independent authority over fortune-related decisions, despite Di Tian’s objections to her investment in Li Ming. 35
Incorporation of Space Soul Beasts
Scarlet King and the Auspicious Beast bring more than 1,000 cultivated young Soul Beasts into the Life Forbidden Zone. Di Tian finds their bloodline power substantially stronger than that of Li Ming’s earlier specimens, with potential to become powerful sub-dragons and, in rare cases, True Dragons. He declares them treasures of Star Dou Forest and orders Scarlet King to raise them carefully. 84
The forest’s fortune rises by 10% when Di Tian formally accepts them, accompanied by increased Earth Vein Qi. The decisive benefit is not merely partial bloodline activation: the Space Soul Beast Project has opened the possibility of awakening bloodlines that would ordinarily remain locked. This potential causes a greater fortune increase than Di Tian expected from their numbers alone. 84
The Earth Vein Qi fluctuation assists Gu Yuena’s recovery and may shorten the time required to heal her injuries. At the same time, the abrupt rise creates a risk of divine scrutiny, leading her to order that further migration continue gradually. 85

| Artificial Whale Stomach | Engineered organ-based entity; one cultivated to Hundred-Thousand-Year strength | Derived from the Demonic Whale King’s cells and capable of Devouring Power. When combined with brain tissue and an AI spiritual entity, it can produce a Soul Ring or perform a programmed sacrifice. 81 90 93 94 |
Space Soul Beast Project
Establishment and Cultivation
Li Ming establishes the Space Soul Beast Project to test whether orbital environments benefit Soul Beast development. The Red Tiger Mercenary Group supplies eggs, and Fate AI repeatedly adjusts and simulates conditions after early batches mutate unsuccessfully and are destroyed. A stable cultivation environment is eventually identified. 58
Comparative experiments show that Soul Beast power is more likely to undergo beneficial mutation during embryonic development in space. This can improve potential beyond limits normally imposed by the parents’ abilities. The possibility of developing Spatial Power or Dark Power is initially proposed rather than demonstrated. 58
- More than half of one early successful batch hatches into snake-, bird-, and crocodile-type Soul Beasts with Ten-Year-equivalent strength. 66
- Artificial blood grown from Di Tian’s hematopoietic stem cells nourishes the newborns and accelerates their development. As those cells cultivate, their blood acquires more Soul Power and traces of Dark Power. 66 67
- The project expands across multiple Space Stations, with later batches used to test bloodline compatibility between different species and blood donors. 72
- Sustained feeding, especially with Di Tian’s heartblood, raises the estimated Ancient Bloodline Awakening chances of the first thousand-plus young beasts to approximately 40%, with one snake reaching 80%. These remain probabilities, not confirmation that all such beasts have completed awakening. 83
- Once the young beasts can independently cultivate by absorbing primal energy, Li Ming prepares to transfer them to Di Tian. 83
Fortune and Research Significance
The project supplies a practical means of increasing the future potential of Star Dou Forest’s population. Its success benefits Li Ming because his own fortune is linked to the forest. It also establishes that the suppression of bloodline development can be bypassed under the project’s conditions. 58 69 84 85
The Auspicious Beast’s earlier visions did not predict the project’s outcome. The project is described as a new variable created and guided by Fate Power, explaining why its results exceeded what her Eye of Destiny had previously foreseen. 83
Cellular and Artificial-Organ Research
Di Tian-Derived Tissues
Di Tian’s separated cells provide a foundation for research into renewable Soul Power production and the reproduction of Soul Beast abilities. Li Ming initially imagines cultivating thousands of artificial organs that continuously convert environmental energy into Soul Power and Dark Power, but recognizes unresolved limitations involving physiology, spiritual power, and additional tissue samples. 67
The first artificial heart grows successfully but performs poorly. Its mismatch with Di Tian’s true anatomy and the possible importance of Soul Cores lead Li Ming to propose constructing a full-sized heart and to plan closer examination of Da Ming and Er Ming. The compressed structure of Di Tian’s humanoid heart is considered too complex for immediate reproduction. 71 72
Research also suggests that different organs may contain different forms of Di Tian’s energy. Dark Power is widespread in his blood, while heartblood possesses unusually concentrated bloodline benefits. The possibility that other artificial organs could reveal additional energies remains a research direction. 74 77
Whale-Devouring Cells
After the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King consumes fragments of an artificial Di Tian heart, Li Ming recovers a viable blood sample. Fate AI discovers that the whale’s separated cells retain Devouring Power, allowing them to consume Di Tian bloodline material, grow stronger, and convert nourishment into large amounts of Soul Power. Li Ming names this research resource Whale-Devouring Cells. 76
Artificial Whale Stomachs cultivated from the whale’s tissues retain this ability. In an early experiment, an artificial stomach consumes a fresh Ten-Year Soul Beast with a calculated absorption efficiency of 10.8%. The experiment’s significance lies in the absorption of accumulated Life Energy, not merely the victim’s replenishable Soul Power reserve. 81
- Devouring an older Soul Beast can capture a portion of the results of centuries or millennia of cultivation, making even a modest absorption percentage valuable. 81
- Continuous feeding with hunted sea creatures increases the artificial organs’ age-equivalent strength. 82
- Artificial stomachs are cultivated for both energy research and the Artificial Soul Ring Project. 81 82
- Li Ming ultimately grows one to Hundred-Thousand-Year strength and successfully absorbs its sacrificed Soul Ring. 93 94
- After reaching level 50, he considers continuing the whale-based path or developing an artificial true dragon from Di Tian’s cells and hearts. He begins investigating the moon as a concealed cultivation site, but the suitability of lunar conditions remains untested. 96
God Realm Restrictions
Di Tian identifies the God Realm’s laws as the reason Soul Beasts rarely awaken dormant bloodlines independently. The Space Soul Beast Project’s results therefore represent more than accelerated growth: they suggest that its cultivated creatures have escaped a restriction imposed on their race. 69 85
The resulting fortune increase draws the God Realm’s attention. Gu Yuena warns that excessive growth involving dragon-related Soul Beasts could cause the God Realm Committee to dispatch a divine official, although several mortal-world years may pass before an investigation occurs. 85
- Gu Yuena orders the promising Space Soul Beasts preserved rather than eliminated, partly because the accompanying Earth Vein Qi increase aids her recovery. 85
- Further Soul Beast migration is to proceed gradually to limit conspicuous fortune fluctuations. 85
- She advises creating a convincing explanation and a scapegoat, expecting that a minor disturbance may not warrant exhaustive investigation by the God Realm Core. 85
- The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King is proposed as the scapegoat because of his near-divine physical and spiritual power and traces of the Sea God’s power. Gu Yuena considers him a possible candidate for godhood. 85
- She directs Di Tian to seek Li Ming’s help in enabling the whale to overcome the God Realm’s laws. This is both a defensive strategy and a test of Li Ming’s value as an ally, not an already completed divine breakthrough. 85
