Li Ming arrived at Nuoding Primary Academy as a working student after recognizing Douluo Continent as the world of his previous knowledge. He deliberately gave Xiao Wu spare bedding to prevent her early closeness with Tang San, hoping to avert Xiao Wu’s future sacrifice and Tang San’s grief. Although he presented himself as a weak student with rank-three Soul Power, he had already begun launching his Satellite Martial Soul into orbit 1.

Over six years at Notting Junior Spirit Master Academy, Li Ming expanded his constellation to roughly a thousand satellites across the Heaven Dou Empire and nearby regions. The network mapped Soul Beasts, mineral deposits, Spirit Masters, criminals, and powerful figures. He used this intelligence to collect bounties and guide his father, Li Yuan, toward profitable iron and silver mines, making the Li family prosperous in Notting City 2.

After obtaining the Sunflower Soul Ring, Li Ming discovered that its weak sunlight-absorption effect became extraordinary when applied through thousands of satellites. He rapidly reached level 20, moved with his family to Heaven Dou City, and enrolled in the Blue Tyrant Academy Intermediate Soul Master Branch after more prestigious academies rejected his low talent and unusual Martial Soul 4 5.

Seeking protection for his second Soul Ring hunt, Li Ming infiltrated Blue Tyrant Academy and manipulated Liu Erlong through information about Yu Xiaogang.
