Nature and Acquisition
A Soul Skill is an ability formed when a Soul Ring fuses with a Martial Soul. Its nature is shaped by the compatibility between the ring and the Martial Soul rather than by the Soul Beast alone. Li Ming’s Nightmare Beast ring, for example, produced a Dream ability suited to his Satellite Spirit’s information-transmission functions. 9
Soul Skills are normally limited by the number of Soul Rings a Soul Master possesses. A Title Douluo above Level 90 generally has nine Soul Skills from nine Soul Rings, excluding abilities granted by Soul Bones. 16
- Soul Ring age — Older rings generally provide much stronger Soul Skills; Thousand-Year, Ten-Thousand-Year, and Hundred-Thousand-Year rings differ greatly in power. 16

Dream Space
Li Ming’s Dream Soul Skill can target anything observed by his Satellite Spirit. This range allows him to select targets through the Satellite Map and draw them into Dream Space from extreme distances. 12
Dream Space supports multiple users because the Satellite Spirits synchronize information and the Satellite AI constructs the dream environment. Its early tests on ordinary people showed no transmission delay, movement lag, data loss, or missing body data. 9 12
- Communication — Users can meet and exchange information across vast distances within a shared dream. 9 14
- Simulation — Satellite AI can generate Dummies and record Soul Skill performance data during simulated combat. 17

Resistance and Limits
Mental strength and cultivation level affect whether Dream can control a target. Ning Fengzhi, a Level 79 Spirit Saint, immediately dispelled Li Ming’s Dream attack and resisted it more than one hundred times. 12
A coordinated satellite attack can increase the skill’s mental impact, but it does not guarantee full control. A nearly five-thousand-year Soul Beast was stunned by hundreds of simultaneous Dream casts yet remained conscious. 23
Li Ming later believed that his increased spiritual power could trap Spirit Ancestors in dreams, though this was his own assessment rather than a demonstrated result. 36
Self-Created Soul Skills
Self-Created Soul Skills are techniques created through a Soul Master’s own Martial Soul. Unlike ring-derived abilities, they are additional to a Soul Master’s normal Soul Skills and can continue growing with the user’s Soul Power. 16
Their development is dangerous: a failed attempt may cause severe injury or permanently reduce cultivation. 16
The Personal Cultivation Assistant evaluates such techniques by analyzing the user’s Martial Soul, Soul Rings, physical condition, and demonstrated power. It can recommend adjustments and quantify whether a modification improves a skill. 16 18
