When a Chaos outbreak spread through the Hive City, he led his soldiers into the Spire, where they fought Plague Walkers and searched for a way back to the Middle Hive.

• Li Qinwu destroyed the corruption in Horse Village, then arranged for the Imperial Cult to purify the ruins with blessed artillery shells after the rebels refused to admit an armed party.
• General Zeppelin awarded Li Qinwu a Silver Oak Leaf Medal and promoted him, leading Commander Leo to expand his squad and give him access to discarded firearms.
• Li Qinwu salvaged and manufactured weapons, trained his soldiers, and prepared to take the Neutral Reactor from Poison Mother’s Chemical Gang.
• At the Duel Arena, Li Qinwu’s Logging Guns and soldiers defeated Poison Mother’s forces, and Poison Mother fled before surrendering the Chemical Gang’s territory and Reactor.

Li Qinwu rescued Miss Nightingale, gathered weapons and vehicles, and prepared to stop the plague corrupting the Tower Spire’s water. He led a force through the infected purification plant and, after clearing several rooms, faced a huge monster made of stitched-together Plague Walkers.

• Li Qinwu led his soldiers through the Plague Walker-filled Grand Theater, rescued Miss Nightingale, and escaped the Spire using her family’s Small Elevator and weapons.
• Li Qinwu brought Miss Nightingale to the Middle Hive, helped her contact her family, and then returned to the Spire to salvage weapons, equipment, and eleven Chimera Transports.
• Li Qinwu upgraded the Intelligence Station, learned that the Spire’s water purification system had been corrupted, and recruited Devout Priest, Reno, and their followers to help purify it.
• Li Qinwu’s group reached the Middle Hive treatment plant, where the priests fought the corrupted and performed a ritual that neutralized contamination at the core Purification Well.
• Li Qinwu led the group through the battlefield to the Upper Hive plant, where Reno revealed a maintenance passage and proposed sealing the Spire into sections.
• Reno sealed the Tower Spire’s doors, and Li Qinwu led his squad through the rooms, killing Plague Walkers as they advanced toward the purification well.
• After resting and recharging their Lasgun batteries, Li Qinwu’s squad prepared to fight a huge monster formed from stitched-together Plague Walkers.

Li Qinwu helped destroy the Chaos Wizard and purify the Spire, then gained honors, a barony, and plans to build up his forces. He sold his consecrated wine, agreed to support Miss Nightingale’s bid for power, and opened negotiations with Marshal Dilar to trade fertilizer for food.

• Li Qinwu destroyed the Formation Eyes, killed the regenerating Daemon with the help of the human head inside it, and watched the priest defeat the Chaos Wizard before the Spire was cleansed.
• Imperial authorities detained Li Qinwu and his companions, but the Planetary Bishop released them and they received honors, military promotions, and noble titles.
• Li Qinwu arranged for his soldiers to join his battalion, promised to bring the families of the men left at the Brewing Plant to the Spire, and agreed to obtain food from the rebels.
