Early in the morning, Hyuga Satoru, who had tossed and turned all night, struggled out of bed and made his way to the Ninja Academy.
He had been too excited by awakening Electromagnetic Force the night before and had barely slept. His Byakugan had turned into panda eyes, his white pupils looking like cake filling beneath the assault of his dark circles.
"Hey! Wu, why do you look so lifeless today?"
Anko looked at him curiously, savoring a Dango in her hand.
"I'm fine."
After thinking for a moment, Anko suddenly leaned close to Hyuga Satoru and whispered, "Wu, what did you mean yesterday when you said you wanted to live until the finale?"
Hyuga Satoru thought for a moment. "It's something very impressive."
"Oh!" Seeing that Hyuga Satoru had no intention of answering, Anko pouted and stopped asking.
Looking at the colorful Dango in Anko's hand, Hyuga Satoru suddenly pictured what she would look like decades later after turning into a sweet potato. He immediately felt physically ill. Anko was not especially beautiful now, but she was still pretty enough. How would she become an old auntie in the future?
"Oh, right. Let me remind you of something: eat fewer Dango."
"Why?" Anko took a bite of her Dango and glanced at Hyuga Satoru. "Will I fail to live until the finale?"
Hyuga Satoru thought for a moment. "That would be better than living until the finale."
Anko: ???
Just as Anko was about to say something, someone in the class shouted, "The homeroom teacher is here!" The chaotic classroom instantly fell silent, and everyone sat upright.
Fujino Daikichi walked to the podium with textbooks in his arms and announced with a smile, "Students, this morning's lessons will mainly be theoretical. This afternoon, we'll have practical Shuriken throwing lessons. I hope everyone studies diligently."
A Shuriken throwing class? Hyuga Satoru raised his brows. It was the perfect chance to test how well Electromagnetic Force could control Shuriken. He had spent a long time practicing with kitchen utensils the night before.
"Students, turn your textbooks, Inheritance of the Will of Fire, to Chapter One, Section Three. We'll continue yesterday's lesson."
"Okay..."
The moment Hyuga Satoru saw the analysis of the Will of Fire in the textbook, he grew sleepy. He simply covered his head with the book and lay on his desk to sleep.
Fujino Daikichi's eyelids twitched in anger at the sight, but he seemed to think of something and lightly shook his head.
"As a member of the Hyuga Clan's Branch Family, the consequences of not working hard are miserable."
He then looked toward another part of the classroom. A boy with bandages around his forehead and snow-white pupils was studying his textbook with a serious expression.
Fujino Daikichi smiled slightly. "Compared to him, Iroha is much more diligent."
After an unknown amount of time, Hyuga Satoru stretched lazily. He was completely refreshed. Not only had the weakness he felt after waking up disappeared, but he felt as though his entire body was brimming with strength.
Hyuga Satoru thought that Electromagnetic Force must have adjusted his Biological Magnetic Field while he rested, allowing his condition to recover faster.
He still could not actively control his own Biological Magnetic Field, but once he cultivated Electromagnetic Force to a higher level, perhaps he could regulate it himself. His vitality might become incomparably vigorous, giving him a body like the First Hokage's, capable of rapidly healing injuries.
That afternoon, Fujino Daikichi led the students to the training field and began teaching them Shuriken throwing, including wrist force, throwing techniques, and more.
Hyuga Satoru noticed that most of the clan children were absent-minded, while the children from civilian families listened with great interest.
The reason was that clan descendants had generally received training from their elders before enrolling, while civilian children found it difficult to access such knowledge. They had never started from the same line.
No matter the era, civilians were always chives. Hyuga Satoru sighed inwardly.
Although school had only just begun, some students already possessed considerable Chakra. Their Biological Magnetic Fields were much stronger. Compared to them, the civilian students were practically fireflies.
Among them, one person's was the strongest. Hyuga Satoru looked toward the white-haired boy at the front, his brows furrowing slightly.
"Kakashi Hatake's Biological Magnetic Field is actually this strong. He probably already has Chakra close to that of a Genin. No wonder he became a Jonin at twelve. What a genius."
"Alright, the explanation is over." Fujino Daikichi clapped his hands. "Next is throwing practice. I'll record your scores. Kojun Miko, you're first."
"Yes."
The black-haired girl answered timidly and stepped out from the crowd to stand beside Fujino Daikichi. A wooden target stood about ten meters in front of her, with a bamboo basket full of Shuriken beside it.
Kojun Miko picked up a Shuriken, recalled Fujino Daikichi's explanation, and hurled it fiercely at the wooden target.
The Shuriken embedded itself in the outer ring.
"Six points. Not bad."
Kojun Miko threw several more.
"Five points, six points, seven points..."
Fujino Daikichi nodded. "Good. Next."
Hyuga Satoru observed the Shuriken throwing. His fingers twitched slightly, and several Shuriken near the edge of the bamboo basket trembled.
"Shuriken are very light. According to Newton's Second Law, acceleration is inversely proportional to mass. They should be much easier to control than kitchen knives."
Just then, cries of surprise suddenly rose from the crowd.
"My God, how did he do that?"
Hyuga Satoru looked over and saw Kakashi holding several Shuriken in each hand. He threw with both hands without a single pause, his movements as smooth as flowing clouds and running water. Every Shuriken sank into the bullseye.
"That's incredible!"
"A... a genius?"
Fujino Daikichi nodded with a smile. His fundamentals were extremely solid. In terms of Shuriken throwing alone, he was already no weaker than an ordinary Genin. As expected of White Fang's son.
"Kakashi Hatake, full marks. Next."
"I'll go."
The moment Fujino Daikichi finished speaking, a long-haired black-haired girl suddenly darted out from the crowd and landed at the spot where Kakashi had thrown. She also threw with both hands, her movements smooth and effortless, every Shuriken striking the bullseye.
"As expected of the Uchiha Clan. Uchiha Rin, full marks!" Fujino Daikichi said with satisfaction.
Did they really have to be this competitive?
Hyuga Satoru's eyelids twitched.
Uchiha Rin had already become a competition king in his eyes.
He had suffered enough from those competition kings in his previous life. He never expected to encounter another one after transmigrating into the world of the Hokage.
Uchiha Rin coldly glanced at Kakashi before returning to her spot. Beside her, Obito began shouting excitedly.
"Hey, Kakashi, did you see that? This is the strength of our Uchiha Clan! Just wait, I'll definitely defeat you!"
Kakashi completely ignored him.
Hyuga Satoru looked at Obito speechlessly. Everyone else stared at the gesticulating boy as if he were an idiot. Who would have thought that such a guy would become the future final boss?
"Next, Uchiha Obito."
"My turn." Obito excitedly walked forward. "Let me show you my strength. I've been secretly practicing Shuriken for a long time."
Uchiha Rin's performance had clearly given him enormous confidence.
He grabbed a Shuriken and threw it with all his might. Then something happened that left everyone dumbfounded: the Shuriken actually flew past the target.
"Missed target. Zero points," Fujino Daikichi said weakly.
"I don't believe it! It was an accident, definitely an accident!" Uchiha Obito threw another Shuriken in frustration, but it missed again.
"Zero points." Fujino Daikichi was speechless...
After glancing at Obito, Kakashi promptly looked away.
Uchiha Rin helplessly turned her face aside, so embarrassed that she nearly carved out a three-bedroom apartment with her toes.
Her expression seemed to say, Don't look at me, don't look at me. I'm not from the same clan as him.
"A mistake! A mistake! That was definitely a mistake! This isn't my real level!"
Obito threw another Shuriken.
"Zero points..."
He threw again.
"Zero points..."
"Hahahaha..."
Thunderous laughter erupted around him.
Obito's face turned bright red, and his entire body looked like an inflated chili pepper. His teeth ground together with creaks.
"I refuse to believe this!"
He fiercely threw the last Shuriken in his hand.
The Shuriken firmly embedded itself in the bullseye.
The air suddenly fell silent.
Obito froze for a moment, then burst into laughter.
"I told you those were mistakes! This is my true strength! Did you all see that?"
He turned around and saw everyone looking at him as though he were an idiot. Uchiha Rin covered her face with one hand in despair. At that moment, she was wondering whether she should eliminate this guy early for the sake of the Uchiha Clan's reputation.
"W-what are you all doing? I clearly hit the bullseye!" Obito stammered.
Fujino Daikichi spoke weakly. "Obito, take another good look."
Obito turned back, and his eyelids jumped. His mouth fell open wide enough to swallow an orange.
"Th-this... how is that possible?"
The target he had hit was not the test target at all, but a target several meters away that another group of students was using. The other student was holding a Shuriken, preparing to throw it, and staring at him with a bewildered expression.
In the corner, the corners of Hyuga Satoru's mouth rose ever so slightly.
