Background / History
Bibi Dong is Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden and a peak Rank 89 Soul Douluo. Her pursuit of power is inseparable from her private vengeance against her teacher, Qian Xunji, who violated her years earlier; she intends to become strong enough to kill him. This secret is unknown even within Spirit Hall. 1 6
She enters Star Dou Forest with Yue Guan and two other Title Douluo to hunt a Hundred-Thousand-Year Death Spider Emperor. Though the beast’s desperate counterattack injures the entire party, Bibi Dong refuses to abandon the pursuit because its soul ring could raise her to the Title Douluo realm. 1
Appearance
Bibi Dong is described as a beautiful woman with a cold, sacred presence befitting Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden. Even when injured or humiliated, she attempts to preserve a noble, aloof bearing. 1 2
- Violet, phoenix-like eyes. 1 2
- Fair complexion and long hair. 1 5
- Usually wears a dark-purple Saintess robe with gold trim. 1 9
- Her attire and demeanor emphasize both her high rank in Spirit Hall and her sacred public image. 1 9
Personality
Bibi Dong is fiercely ambitious, proud, and unwilling to submit. After being injured in Star Dou Forest, she still orders the hunt to continue rather than lose the Death Spider Emperor and her chance to advance. 1
Her pride persists even against Chu Zisheng’s overwhelming power. Immobilized, beaten, and repeatedly provoked, she refuses to beg for mercy and continues trying to kill him despite knowing the attacks are futile. 4 5 6
Beneath her controlled exterior, Bibi Dong is driven by trauma and hatred for Qian Xunji. Chu Zisheng’s knowledge of her secret vengeance shakes her, but his offer to help kill Qian Xunji restores her will to survive. 6 7 She later becomes conflicted toward Chu Zisheng: she resents his humiliation and intrusion into her life, yet recognizes that he spared, healed, and materially aided her. 9 12 19
Bibi Dong also demonstrates responsibility toward her subordinates. After awakening in the forest, she gives Yue Guan medicine, treats the injured elders, and orders the party’s withdrawal before more soul beasts can arrive. 9
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Bibi Dong possesses the Death Spider Emperor and Soul-Devouring Spider Emperor martial souls. 4
- Her twin martial souls can resonate when she is under extreme pressure. 4
- Their resonance briefly lets her overcome part of Chu Zisheng’s suppression and regain control of her body. 4
- She can activate all eight of her existing soul rings for a desperate full-power attack. 4
Soul Douluo Cultivation
At the beginning of the story, Bibi Dong is a peak Rank 89 Soul Douluo, one soul ring short of becoming a Title Douluo. 1 2
- She is capable of joining a hunt for a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. 1
- Her cultivation is vastly inferior to Chu Zisheng’s, whose domain can suppress her soul power and immobilize her. 2 3
- Her Rank 89 status leaves her especially vulnerable in clashes above the Title Douluo level. 3
Rakshasa God Mark
A dark Rakshasa God Mark manifests on Bibi Dong’s forehead when her hatred surges. She initially does not know that it exists. 4 7 8
- The mark carries a trace of divine power that Chu Zisheng identifies as foreign to ordinary mortals. 7 8
- It is linked to Bibi Dong’s hatred and desire for revenge. 4 7

Chu Zisheng forcibly plants a mark in Bibi Dong by sending his source soul power into her body and soul. 8
- The process overwhelms her meridians and consciousness, causing her to lose consciousness. 8
- Chu Zisheng senses a special connection after the imprint spreads through her body and soul. 8
- Bibi Dong cannot detect a visible slave mark, soul contract, restriction, or direct control after awakening. 9
- She later experiences an unexplained disturbance in her aura and emotions, suggesting the mark may still affect her. 9
Equipment / Items

- Saintess robes — Formal dark-purple-and-gold clothing associated with her position in Spirit Hall. 9
- Healing pills and spirit herbs — Used to treat Yue Guan and the other injured Title Douluo after the confrontation. 9
Relationships
- Chu Zisheng — Initially an intended target whom Bibi Dong mistakes for a weakened transformed soul beast. After he defeats and humiliates her, he spares her, heals her injuries, implants a mark in her, and leaves her the Death Spider Emperor needed for advancement. Her feelings toward him are a mixture of hatred, fear, shame, gratitude, and indebtedness. 1 5 8 11 12 19
- Yue Guan — Loyal Spirit Hall subordinate and protector. He burns his life force and risks death to create an escape opportunity for Bibi Dong; afterward, she gives him medicine and remains concerned for his recovery. 3 9
- Qian Xunji — Bibi Dong’s teacher and her hidden enemy. His past violation of her is the source of her deeply concealed hatred and her determination to seek revenge. 6 19
- Death Spider Emperor — A Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast Bibi Dong hunts for its ninth soul ring. Chu Zisheng later leaves the barely living beast in her storage pendant, giving her another opportunity to obtain it. 1 11 19

Story Role / Major Arcs
Hunt for the Death Spider Emperor
Bibi Dong leads Spirit Hall’s pursuit of the wounded Death Spider Emperor through Star Dou Forest’s dangerous core region. She refuses to retreat despite her injuries because the beast represents her path from Rank 89 to Title Douluo. 1
Confrontation with Chu Zisheng
After mistaking Chu Zisheng for a vulnerable transformed soul beast, Bibi Dong orders his assassination. The attempt fails completely: he defeats the Title Douluo, suppresses Bibi Dong with his domain, and reveals nine Hundred-Thousand-Year soul rings. 2 4
Bibi Dong repeatedly attacks Chu Zisheng despite the impossible gap in power. He defeats her without using soul power, repeatedly slapping her aside until she collapses, but ultimately chooses not to kill her. 5 6
The Rakshasa Mark and Forced Bond
Chu Zisheng discovers Bibi Dong’s concealed Rakshasa God Mark and offers to help her kill Qian Xunji in exchange for becoming his believer. Bibi Dong, believing he seeks her body, prepares herself to endure the arrangement for the sake of revenge; his true interest instead shifts to her divine connection. 6 7
He then plants his own source-power mark within her through a painful, uncontrolled procedure, leaving an unexplained spiritual connection between them. 8
Aftermath and the Death Spider Emperor
Bibi Dong awakens healed and dressed in a clean Saintess robe, while Chu Zisheng has vanished. She cannot find the mark he claims to have implanted and struggles to understand why he spared her and her companions. 9
During the retreat, she discovers that Chu Zisheng placed both her ruined robe and the dying Death Spider Emperor inside her storage pendant. The violation of her private soul tool intensifies her anger and unease, even as the beast offers the advancement she sought. 11
Later, she privately acknowledges that Chu Zisheng kept his promise and did not exploit her vulnerability, leaving her more emotionally conflicted than before. 12
Return to Spirit Hall
Bibi Dong returns to Spirit Hall with Yue Guan and the other elders. When Qian Xunji asks about her condition, she responds coldly and claims she is fine. 18 19
She withdraws to her cultivation chamber, where she faces the dying Death Spider Emperor and reflects on her unresolved debt to Chu Zisheng before apparently preparing to claim the beast’s soul ring. 19
