Background / History
Yue Guan joined Bibi Dong and two other Spirit Hall Title Douluos in hunting a Hundred-Thousand-Year Death Spider Emperor so that Bibi Dong could obtain her ninth soul ring and enter the Title Douluo realm. Already poisoned and injured by the beast’s desperate counterattack, he nevertheless followed her order to pursue it into the Star Dou Forest’s core region. 1
Near the Lake of Life, Yue Guan detected no soul-power fluctuations from Chu Zisheng and concluded that the apparently eight-year-old boy was a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast. Seeing the prospect of a soul ring and soul bone, he urged Bibi Dong to strike immediately. 1 2
His ambush failed catastrophically. Yue Guan’s Eighth Soul Skill was effortlessly repelled, sending him hundreds of meters away and leaving him badly wounded. After witnessing Bibi Dong’s helplessness before Chu Zisheng, he returned to the battlefield despite knowing that Chu’s aura seemed more terrifying than Qian Daoliu’s. 2 3
Yue Guan risked his life to create an escape route for Bibi Dong. He burned his life force through his Ninth Soul Skill, shielded her with his Second Soul Skill, and kicked her beyond the immediate battlefield. Chu Zisheng’s subsequent suppression sealed Yue Guan’s soul power, preventing him from completing his intended self-destruction and inadvertently saving his life. 3
After awakening, Yue Guan’s first concern was Bibi Dong’s condition. He remained shaken by Chu Zisheng’s power and later realized that the survivors could no longer remember Chu’s face or much of what happened after the nine red soul rings appeared. 9 10 11
Despite his injuries, Yue Guan reported the incident to Qian Xunji and Qian Daoliu. He identified Chu Zisheng as at least Limit Douluo-level, though he could not recall the figure’s appearance or martial soul. Qian Xunji subsequently ordered Yue Guan to join another hunt, this time targeting the transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Grass Empress. 18 19
Appearance
Yue Guan has a notably feminine face and mannerisms. During the Star Dou Forest expedition, his face was pale from poison and injury, and he was often depicted alongside the golden chrysanthemum of his martial soul. 1
- Uses an orchid-finger gesture as a habitual mannerism. 1
- Possesses a golden chrysanthemum martial soul, the Velvet Sky-Piercing Chrysanthemum. 2
- His injuries after fighting Chu Zisheng include shattered ribs, broken sternum bones, and unstable soul power. 3 9
Personality
Yue Guan is cautious when assessing danger but becomes excitable when he sees the value of a rare soul beast. He correctly feared the Star Dou Forest’s core region, yet enthusiastically urged Bibi Dong to kill Chu Zisheng when he believed him to be a vulnerable transformed soul beast. 1 2
His defining trait is loyalty to Bibi Dong. Once she was endangered, Yue Guan chose certain defeat over retreat, sacrificing his life force, defenses, and future potential to give her a chance to escape. 3
He often masks fear with humor, flamboyant phrasing, and bravado. Even after surviving Chu Zisheng’s attack, he tried to appear composed before the other elders, though he was deeply terrified by the encounter and the gaps in his memory. 9 10
Abilities & Skills

Eighth Soul Skill — Radiant Flow
A concentrated golden strike launched from Yue Guan’s palm. 2

Two Extremes Static Domain
A joint ability Yue Guan can use with Ghost Douluo. 1

- Chu Zisheng — The overwhelmingly powerful figure Yue Guan mistakenly identified as a transformed soul beast. Chu defeated him twice, crushed his chest, suppressed his soul power, and left him traumatized by missing memories. 1 2 3 10
- Qian Xunji — Spirit Hall’s Pope, who questioned Yue Guan about Chu Zisheng and later ordered him to participate in the hunt for the Blue Silver Grass Empress despite his injuries. 18 19
