Background / History

Jing Hongchen was escorting a hundred-thousand-year soul beast embryo when he learned of Lin Yuan’s Heavenly Stem Qilin martial soul. Judging Lin Yuan’s potential more valuable than continuing the escort immediately, he equipped an eighth-class soul-tool thruster and rushed to the All-Continent Elite Soul Master Tournament. He arrived in time to stop Xuanzi from attacking Lin Yuan, warning that harming a Sun Moon representative could provoke war with the Sun Moon Empire 4.

After Xu Sanshi’s death, Jing deterred Xuanzi from escalating the confrontation by openly producing two Ninth-Level Fixed Soul Guidance Cannons. He maintained that Shrek, rather than Lin Yuan, bore responsibility for Xu Sanshi’s failed rescue 5.
