Background / History

Ling Rushuang was born as a princess of the Yan Kingdom under the name Ling Shuang. After her father banished her and her mother because of her mother's status, she became an abandoned princess and was nearly killed. Yu Qing, Su Fan's mother, saved Ling Rushuang and her mother, recognized Ling Rushuang's exceptional sword talent, and sent her to Sword God Mountain. 14 142

She concealed her identity at Sword God Mountain and quietly protected Su Fan for years at Yu Qing's request. This protection included ensuring that, despite his formerly poor reputation and talent, he was not mistreated in the sect.
