Background

Jiang Xuan was born amid auspicious heavenly phenomena, with radiant light covering a hundred miles. He displayed exceptional cultivation comprehension from childhood and reached the Fifth Layer of Qi Refining at ten years old. Within the Profound Heaven Sect, he was regarded as a rare prodigy. 1

His elders arranged his childhood engagement to Bai Ruoshuang, the daughter of Elder Bai Moyang. The sect celebrated them as its “golden boy and jade girl,” while Jiang Xuan sincerely anticipated becoming her Dao companion. 1
