Background / History

Founded by the Heavenly Evolution Divine Lord, the Sacred Land was once prosperous enough to shake the Three Thousand Realms. It declined over the ages after its founder departed and remained deliberately low-profile for a long period. 44 52

The Divine Lord eventually returned to the Azure Firmament Realm and secluded herself within the Sacred Land. Her existence was known to only a small number of people, including Sacred Lord Ye Wushuang. 44 52

After Jiang Xuan became the Divine Lord’s sole direct disciple, she ordered Ye Wushuang to establish him as Dao Child, direct all Sacred Land resources toward him, and end the concealment of her existence. This marked the beginning of the Sacred Land’s public revival. 52

The Heavenly Evolution Grand Assembly was held to announce Jiang Xuan’s appointment and the Sacred Land’s return to prominence. Jiang Xuan suppressed internal and external challengers, while the Divine Lord’s appearance as a living Great Emperor compelled the major Eastern Wilderness powers to recognize the Sacred Land as the region’s number-one force. 57 58 60

Following the assembly, the Divine Lord destroyed Zifu Sacred Land. Other major Eastern Wilderness forces withdrew into seclusion, treating the Heavenly Evolution Sacred Land as a force that could not be provoked. 61

The Sacred Land’s signature supreme Sword Dao art was created by the Heavenly Evolution Divine Lord. It requires comprehension of forty-nine Origin Sword Intents and seeks to make its practitioner the “one who escaped,” the supreme sovereign of the Sword Dao. 53
