Gon braced himself against the ground and slowly rose to his feet.
Pain flared through his ribs. He took a deep breath, and as Nen coursed through him, he forcibly stabilized the broken bones.
Leorio's long-range healing Nen arrived at the same time. Warm energy covered Gon's chest, easing more than half the pain.
"Don't force it!" Leorio shouted from afar. "Let's change tactics!"
They could not keep attacking one point at a time.
Fighting separately would only let Gray Moth pick them off one by one. His straw and Airflow Cannon were naturally suited to countering solo charges.
Kurapika was the first to react.
Chains spread across the ground, forming a sparse net that covered several meters around Gray Moth.
They were not meant to bind him.
They were meant as an early warning system and to restrict his movement.
"Killua, harass him from both sides!"
"Gon, keep him occupied from the front!"
"Leorio, be ready to move in and heal!"
"Genos, keep the flames on him. Don't let him take a full breath!"
The orders were clear and decisive.
The five of them instantly adjusted their formation.
A flash of lightning, and Killua appeared to Gray Moth's left.
He no longer fired lightning from afar—that would just give his opponent energy. Instead, he darted around at high speed in close quarters, his fists and kicks constantly targeting Gray Moth's flanks and joints.
Pure close-range physical combat.
Gray Moth frowned and struck out with his left palm.
Killua flashed away, vanishing from where he stood and appearing on the other side.
Godspeed's extreme speed showed its full advantage in close-quarters combat.
Gray Moth's Airflow Cannon was powerful, but it needed time to charge and aim. Killua was too fast, giving him no chance to lock on.
"Annoying."
