At the center of the underground palace, the Salamander Lion-Faced Beast was still roaring in fury. Its tail whipped through the air, smashing the ground and sending rubble flying.
The others hid behind a broken pillar, staring at the projected recipe overhead with grave expressions.
"Listen up, everyone!"
Leorio hugged the stone recipe tablet to his chest and pushed up a pair of glasses that weren't there, his face solemn.
"I'm in command!"
"You hit whichever spot I call out, with exactly as much force as I say!"
"No jumping ahead, no hitting too hard, and no hitting too softly!"
"Got it?"
"Got it!"
Gon clenched his fists, his eyes shining with anticipation.
Killua flexed his wrists. Lightning crackled at his fingertips as he nodded.
Genos gave a slight nod too, red light flickering in his eyes. "Real-time force scanning activated. I'll issue an immediate warning if the deviation exceeds five percent."
Saitama crouched nearby, chin in hand, looking bored.
"What about me?"
"You?" Leorio glanced at him. "You stay right there! No attacking!"
"One punch from you and the beast's gone. Then forget about drinking the cola!"
"Huh?" Saitama looked even more aggrieved. "I can't even give it a tiny tap?"
"No!" everyone said in unison.
Saitama pouted and went back to the corner to draw circles on the ground.
"Good! Get ready!"
Leorio took a deep breath, looked down at the recipe, and shouted:
"First spot! Below the third scale on its left front paw!"
"Thirty percent strength! Gon, go!"
"Got it!"
Gon kicked off the ground and shot forward, golden Nen wrapping around his fist.
He deliberately held back, using only thirty percent of his strength as he punched the designated spot on the beast's left front paw.
A soft thump sounded.
The Salamander Lion-Faced Beast looked
