Amid the roars, the Ruins Guardian walked out from behind the collapsed wall.
It was a massive stone statue over ten meters tall, its entire body covered in cyan stone armor. A red gem was embedded in its chest, glittering in the darkness. Its eyes were two burning flames, and the ground trembled with every step it took.
"The Ruins Guardian's final boss," Genos reported. "Capture Level 150. Its core is inside the red gem in its chest."
"Level 150..." Gon clenched his fists. "Perfect for testing our current strength!"
The Guardian slammed down a fist, the wind of the blow howling through the air.
Gon charged forward, meeting it head-on with a fortyfold Spinning Rock-Paper-Scissors punch.
"Bam—!!!"
The two forces collided, and a shockwave swept through the entire room. Gon staggered back two steps, while the Guardian also came to a halt.
"Not bad," Gon said, shaking his hand. "But it's weaker than I expected."
The red gem in the Guardian's chest lit up. It opened its mouth, and a red beam shot out.
"Dodge!"
Everyone scattered. The beam struck the wall behind them and melted straight through it, leaving a hole.
"The core is in its chest!" Kurapika shouted. "Attack the core!"
Gon drew the Ancient Nen Weapon from his waist and infused Nen into the blade. Black light gleamed across it, and the sealing patterns began to glow.
"Watch this!"
He leaped into the air and slashed at the Guardian's chest.
"Shk—!!!"
The blade broke through the stone armor and struck the red gem directly. The Guardian let out a shriek and staggered back several steps.
"It worked!"
Kurapika's Chain shot out at once, wrapping around the Guardian's four limbs. With a forceful pull, he pinned it in place.
"Killua!"
"Coming!"
Killua's electric needles shot from his
