The aura behind the door grew stronger and stronger.
Even the air was being sucked inward, making a faint hissing sound, as though some enormous thing were breathing behind the door.
Everyone stood before the door in silence.

The door slowly opened, and the sight beyond it left everyone stunned.
There was no room behind the door.
There was a vast space.
It was as large as the interior of a planet.
Above them stretched endless darkness, with no ceiling in sight. Beneath their feet floated a black stone platform, surrounded by a bottomless void. All around them stood countless enormous black pillars extending from the void and supporting the entire space.
The entire space was terrifyingly quiet.
There was no sound, no wind, and no aura.
Only one thing floated in the center.
A mass of black swirling energy.
It was dozens of meters wide and spun constantly. The surrounding space, light, and energy were all being devoured by it. The light that drew near bent and twisted before being sucked inside and vanishing without a trace.
It had no fixed shape.
At times, it resembled a gigantic beast opening its mouth and revealing countless fangs. At times, it looked humanoid, stretching out countless hands to claw in every direction. At other times, it resembled nothing at all—only a mass of pure darkness spinning without end.
