When the airship landed, Bai Zhu's first instinct was to look out the window.
Not to admire the scenery.
But to check whether anything with wings was stuck outside collecting rent.
Thankfully, there was nothing beyond the porthole but yellow sand and a row of military guidance lights.
Bai Zhu breathed a sigh of relief and was just about to pick up the last half of his biscuit when the announcement came on.

Ging stood from the front row and casually slung his backpack over one shoulder.

Bai Zhu stuffed the biscuit into his mouth and mumbled, "I request to be the last one off."
List had already picked up the folder.
"It's too late to run now. Give up resisting and enjoy yourself!"
Bai Zhu immediately retorted, "Who said I was running? I just think experts should bring up the rear."
Piyu passed by with her phone in hand and casually scanned the top of his head.
Bai Zhu raised a hand to cover his feather.
"Take another picture, and I'm seriously charging you."

"I wasn't taking pictures. I was collecting samples."
"That sounds even more suspicious."
The cabin door opened, and hot wind rushed in all at once.

Yellow sand stretched to the horizon in the distance, yet a vast patch of green had been abruptly set in the middle of it.
