The moment Milluki finished speaking, Bai Zhu's forehead suddenly tingled.
There was no gunshot.
No whistling through the air.
Even the fog had not stirred.
Bai Zhu had no time to retreat. He raised his hand, forming a palm-sized transparent barrier before his brow.

The bullet struck Dankū. The explosive impact sent his bangs flying wildly, and the transparent wall shattered into fine points of light.

The pillar did not explode.

Bai Zhu stared into the fog and cursed under his breath.
"A sniper with blink abilities. The Specialist Association sure knows how to build a team."
Ging's voice suddenly rang out from the mist.
