Palm led the way, stopping every so often to check the surroundings with her crystal ball. Patrols were everywhere in the Underground City, and guards changed shifts along several main corridors. After checking three directions, Palm turned back and lowered her voice.
"No one on the left. No pursuers behind us, either."
