Bai Zhu and his allies uncovered Anvil Enterprises’ plan to refine the experimental subject and destroy the city, then destroyed D-04 and escaped the orbital purge. With Anvil’s secrets in hand and new powers gained, Bai Zhu prepared to flee the Kakin Empire before Ging invited him to test a revamped Greed Island.

• Bai Zhu gathered civilians behind Dankū walls while he, Milluki, Camilla, and Hisoka fought the infected and traced the hidden Experimental Subject through the city.
• Bai Zhu discovered that Anvil Enterprises and its allies had planted nanobots to track D-04, and Milluki recovered records exposing their secret experiment and the Zoldyck connection.
• At the port, Bai Zhu confronted the Overseer and the Pope clone, while the Scavenger and Anvil’s systems revealed that the group had been used to gather combat data.
• Bai Zhu and his allies disrupted the Main Box and forged Anvil’s data, then learned that the company planned to refine D-04 before purging the city with a satellite strike.
• Bai Zhu released Bankai and used Zanka no Tachi, East: Kyokujitsujin to destroy D-04, while the Main Box extracted the lingering Nen and the Overseer claimed Anvil had secured an S-class specimen.
• Bai Zhu, Camilla, and Milluki killed the Overseer and divided the recovered spoils, but Milluki had to override the satellite long enough for them to escape the strike.
• Bai Zhu completed the City of Hunger quest, gained Katen Kyōkotsu and two Bakudō techniques, and learned that Kakin Unma was tied to Anvil as a confidential V5 liaison.
• Bai Zhu prepared to leave the Kakin Empire for the Sareta United States, but Ging Freecss called to recruit him as a special tester for a revamped Greed Island.

Bai Zhu joined Ging on Greed Island to create a healing card, then learned that Mystery International’s Court was tracking him and had an outpost near the Old Trench. On Ring Island, the crew uncovered the Court’s experiments beneath the Lighthouse, where Vick’s transformation triggered a spreading black mist and forced Bai Zhu to call for retreat.

• Ging recruited Bai Zhu to help create a healing card for Greed Island, and Bai Zhu agreed in exchange for payment, freedom to explore, and answers to three future questions.
• Bai Zhu entered the ruins’ core and used the Soul King’s Pen to repair its unstable seal, then agreed to let Ging investigate Anvil Enterprises and Court.
• Bai Zhu and Ging completed an SSR healing card, while Ging revealed that Court had classified Bai Zhu as sample A-037 and could track his residual samples.
• When Hound’s pursuit team attacked Greed Island, Bai Zhu killed the attackers, destroyed their boats and equipment, and left for the Silent Root Sea after the squad’s post-mortem Nen tracked him.
• Bai Zhu joined Morel, Knuckle, Shuto, and Milluki on a voyage across Old Trench, where the crew encountered the Sea Lord and discovered that parasitic slime linked its hosts into a collective consciousness.
• The Landlord led Bai Zhu to the Lighthouse, where he found Court’s emblem and learned that the Court had built an outpost to study the underwater seal.
• Piyu deciphered the ruins’ records and revealed that Court had tunneled beneath the island toward the Dark Continent, using Sirens and civilians to study the seal before abandoning the outpost.
• Bai Zhu followed Vick into the Lighthouse, destroyed Vick’s transformed black mist with Raikōhō, and carried Milluki out as black clouds spread across Ring Island, then activated Morel’s locator bomb and called for retreat.
