I Want to Live

"That guy is Straw Hat?!" Spandam fell to the ground in fright at the sight of Luffy. "Damn it, damn it! Wasn't Bruno supposed to be on patrol? Where is he now?!" As if searching for Bruno, Spandam pressed his entire face against the iron-barred window, only to find Bruno lying unconscious on the ground.

"Damn it, damn it! That useless fool! He mastered the Six Powers and was a Devil Fruit user, yet he lost to a pirate!" Spandam raged. "Go inform Lucci and the others! Kill the Straw Hat Pirates on sight!"

"Looks like the Straw Hats have already arrived, so why are you still acting like this?" Franky looked at Robin with slight dissatisfaction. "Spandam has already broken his promise. Your companions will be killed by him, and you still have no will to survive? They came to save you prepared to become enemies of the World Government, and you still feel nothing? You have no choice now but to leave with them. I'll take you to them." As he spoke, Franky swelled up like a balloon.

"Whoa, that guy's inflating!" A soldier immediately reported to Spandam.

"What is going on?!" Spandam roared furiously. Everything had been going perfectly, but suddenly it all seemed to slip beyond his control.

"Hah, I'm not letting myself fall into the hands of people like you! I've activated the self-destruct device inside my body. This Explosion has a range of three kilometers. Let's die together, Spandam!" Franky said madly.

"You lunatic!" Spandam ran outside in terror. "Move aside, all of you! Let me get out first!"

"What an idiot." Franky swiftly expelled the air from his body. "Coup de Vent!" The powerful blast sent Franky and Robin straight to the rooftop.

"Ha, you're here too, bro!" Franky spotted Li Ziming standing on the rooftop opposite them at a glance. "I knew you hadn't left."

"Of course. After all, if I didn't make some preparations, I wouldn't be sure whether I could survive this time." Li Ziming shrugged. "You brought Robin out?"

"Yes..." Before Franky could finish, Kaku kicked him in the face and pinned him firmly against the wall.

"Nico Robin." Spandam said smugly, "You can't escape." With CP9 by his side, Spandam's confidence immediately soared.

"I'm coming over now!" Luffy was already preparing to jump across.

"Enough!" Robin suddenly shouted. "Go back! Leave me alone! Why did you come save me?! When did I ever ask you to do this?! I don't want to see you again! Go back!" Robin then took a deep breath. "I don't want to live anymore!"

"What nonsense is this, kid?" Li Ziming somehow appeared beside Robin and slapped the back of her head. "Sorry, Captain. Robin must have stayed here too long, so her brain's gotten a little messed up."

"Oh, so that's how it is." Luffy said without a care. "Then let's take her back and have Chopper look at her."

"Are you ignoring us?" Lucci appeared behind Li Ziming. "Shigan!"

Clang! Lucci felt as if he had struck an iron plate. "Tekkai? You know the Six Powers too?"

"Yeah." Li Ziming's voice suddenly came from behind Lucci. "You took good care of me back in Water 7. Big Explosion!"

A fierce explosive shockwave struck Lucci in the back. "Tekkai!" Lucci was extremely powerful, however, and blocked it with Tekkai in an instant.

"Shigan!" At that moment, the other CP9 agents launched their attacks at Li Ziming.

"Dangerous, dangerous!" Li Ziming kept evading their attacks by the narrowest of margins.

"Shigan!" Suddenly, a Shigan much faster than the others stabbed toward him.

"Urgh!" Li Ziming was sent flying and landed beside Luffy. "That was dangerous, dangerous. I almost got a hole punched through me." Li Ziming spoke nervously, but he still wore a cheerful grin. "As expected of CP9's strongest, huh? Captain, can you beat him?"

"Of course!" Luffy nodded. "I'll definitely beat that pigeon-raising guy!"

"I already said I..." Robin wanted to say something else.

"Want to try my slap again? Next time, though, I'll smack your butt." Li Ziming waved his palm and looked at Robin with a teasing smile.

Boom! The rooftop behind Luffy suddenly shattered. "I should've come up this way from the start. Oh, Ming's here too." Zoro climbed up, followed by Nami and Chopper.

"I'll be the one to rescue Robin!" Sanji kicked his way up. "Why are there so many people?!"

"Wah!" Usopp also flew up at that moment.

"Looks like everyone's here." Li Ziming smiled. "Captain, give the order."

"I..." Robin wanted to say something else, but Luffy interrupted her.

"You don't need to say anything. If there's really something you want, wait until we save you, then say it!" Luffy spoke with overwhelming force.

"CP9, take them out!" Spandam was nearly insane. "Do you know what I have in my hand?!" Spandam took out the Golden Den Den Mushi. "This is a Buster Call! If I press it, you'll all die!"

"Leave this place now!" Robin shouted in panic.

"What's wrong? Want me to press it and show you? Do you know how Ohara vanished from the map?" Spandam was immensely smug at that moment.

"No, don't press it!" Robin said in terror. "Ohara vanished from the map, but you can't see people on a map! Do you know how many people died under the Buster Call?!"

"Go ahead and press it." Li Ziming shrugged. "Honestly, I'd like to see what five vice admirals, ten warships, and elite Marines can really do."

"You think I won't really press it?" Spandam had not expected anyone to dare defy the Buster Call.

"Hehe, there are still hundreds, even thousands, of Marine soldiers on this island. Can you bear to sacrifice them like this?" Li Ziming smiled strangely.

"Who cares if they die? Once I obtain the Ancient Weapons, I can have as many soldiers as I want!" Spandam said without a care.

"Well, thanks for the speech." Li Ziming shook the Den Den Mushi in his hand. "I believe plenty of people have heard your grand words by now. Nami, how did things go with that news agency I had you contact?"

"The recording came out perfectly." Nami likewise took out a Den Den Mushi. "That news agency said that if we get news like this again, we should definitely notify them. They might even share part of the payment with me."

"You, you..." Spandam knew that after saying such things, even if he truly obtained the Ancient Weapons for the World Government, he would never again have a place to stand.

"You think this will make me submit?!" Spandam was close to madness. "Do you know what you're facing?!" Spandam pointed at the flag behind him. "This is an alliance of more than one hundred seventy countries! Do you know how insignificant you are before such a massive alliance?!"

"So this is what Robin has been carrying..." Luffy became utterly serious. "Sogeking, shoot down that flag..."

"Got it." Usually timid Usopp felt not the slightest fear at that moment. He aimed his slingshot at the fluttering flag of the World Government. "Firebird Star!" Bird-shaped flames flew toward the World Government's flag, and in an instant, it caught fire.

"Are you insane?! If you make enemies of the World Government, don't expect to survive!" Spandam roared.

"That's exactly what we want!" Luffy roared back even louder. "Robin, come out! You want to live, don't you?!"

"I want to live..." Robin's face was covered in tears. "Take me out to sea with you, everyone!"

"Do you all want to die?!" Spandam had completely lost his mind. "Then go die!" As he spoke, Spandam pressed the Golden Den Den Mushi in his hand. The Buster Call had been activated.
