Enel was fast. He went to the docks to tell Ham and the others to meet them at Grove 13.

Rogge and his crew reached Grove 13 and found a small bar nestled among the mangrove's roots. It held only a sofa and a counter, with room for few patrons. Clearly, it wasn't run on a large scale. Rogge's group wasn't large either: including the twin sisters, there were only eleven of them.

Jingle!

They pushed open the door, setting the bell above it ringing. The bar was quiet and simply furnished. No one was in sight.

"Doesn't seem like anything special," Jelly said.

"Looks like an ordinary bar to me," Ares said.

"I invited you here for a drink. What's with all the complaints?" Rogge snapped.

"Long live the boss!" Jelly cheered, throwing up his hands.

"Long live the boss!" Jerry, the simpleton, cheered too. His thinking was straightforward: free things were good things. When someone else was paying, you called him boss. If the boss was feeling generous, he might treat you again next time.

Calling anyone who bought him a meal "boss" was a safe bet. It cost him nothing. If someone fed him, he'd even call the man Dad. It wasn't as though he had a father.

The others settled onto the sofa while Rogge went behind the counter to pick out drinks. He wasn't fussy. He grabbed a pile of bottles and set them on the table.

Everyone else sat on the sofa. Rogge alone took a seat at the counter.

A door opened, and an elderly man with glasses and long white hair came out. He looked surprised to see them.

"Customers? Shakuyaku, we have customers."

Rogge kept his eyes on the old man and slid a bottle of wine toward him.
