Who Is the Lord of Lightning? (Part Four)

"What's wrong with Zeus?" Perospero looked up at the dark clouds overhead. They had already hidden Charlotte Linlin from view.

Katakuri's eyes narrowed. He activated Observation Haki, and a scene appeared in his mind.

Before long, sweat beaded on Katakuri's forehead.

"Thunder God Enel!" Katakuri said through gritted teeth.

"What did you see, Katakuri?" Smoothie asked, turning to him. She knew he must have used Observation Haki to glimpse what was coming.

"It's nothing. Big Mom will be fine, but Zeus..." Katakuri trailed off.

In the sky, Zeus had stopped moving. Charlotte Linlin stared at him anxiously and shouted, "Zeus, what's wrong with you?"

"Big Mom, it feels so good. So much... so much... it feels amazing." Zeus's face was flushed, and his body kept swelling. Lightning spilled out of him, crackling.

"Zeus!"

Charlotte Linlin could see that something was wrong. Zeus had a mind of his own. Though she had created him from her soul, she could not control him unless she took that soul back.

"Big Mom, I want..." Zeus narrowed his eyes, looking utterly intoxicated.

"Zeus!!"

"World-Destroying Thunder!"

Enel swung his arm, pouring out even more power. In an instant, all the lightning surged into Zeus.

Zeus's eyes flew open. He looked as though he had reached paradise and lost himself in its beauty. He had lost control of his body.

Boom!

A tremendous roar erupted from within Zeus. In the next instant, every bolt of lightning inside him burst out, aimed solely at Charlotte Linlin. Like a rampaging beast, it swallowed her whole.

"Ah!"

Zeus was a Homie Charlotte Linlin had created, but the lightning still hurt her. After all, Zeus was no longer controlling it. Enel was, and his Rumble-Rumble Fruit's power was mixed into the attack.
