A Complete Mess

"Are you not going to invite this woman to join us?" Jelly asked, pointing at Miss Doublefinger.

Obviously, this guy wanted a woman on the ship. Otherwise, the journey would be too boring. How could a ship possibly have no women? Even one would do. After all, they were all men, and having to dock every time they needed to take care of their urges was rather inconvenient.

"What is it? Can't hold it in? If you want one, go to the pleasure district. Anyone who comes aboard becomes a crewmate. Besides, I have no intention of inviting women onto a pirate ship. Haven't you heard that men become brothers when they're together, but turn against each other once women get involved? Just fool around with them. Don't end up dying on top of one." Rogge spoke coldly.

To Rogge, anyone he invited aboard was a crewmate. Crewmates could not be like Jelly, who had some ulterior motive. Otherwise, they would not be crewmates, but slaves. How would that make them any different from the Celestial Dragons?
